((A cold compress will bring down the swelling and a light massage of the area will help drain some of the lymph fluid away, keep it elevated if it’s still bothering you. While it’s tempting to not walk on it or limp on it, gentle exercise = good))
((Okay! Thanks!))
Twist The Knee
Of course the day I think I'm finally making some improvement in healing and adjusting I step on the wheel of a grocery cart. I was trying to get into the elevator since some guy held it for me and I go and step directly on the wheel and twist my right knee. I mean seriously. Who is this accident prone? It does make sense you are more accident prone when you are already hurt but come on. I have been struggling through the last five weeks to learn how to walk. No falling or major tripping has happened. Tonight I sleep with a bag of frozen peas on my super swollen knee.
Cheers?
Twisted my knee Freeriding Today
So seem that the Downhill sesion from yesterday took all my energy, my knees felt really weak and sore yesterday and today i went for a freeride session with friends in one of the best spot in town, everything started pretty good, i was doing some standies heelside and toeside, backside 180, switch, etc, then i sat for awhile cause i was still tired from yesterday, then when i grab the board again i was gonna do a toeside 180 and my left knee just made a pop out crunch sound, so my board went one side and i went straight to the floor, i was in so much pain i couldn't move, then i was crawling on the floor and everyone was just around looking and trying to help but i just needed to rest and relax, a friend drove me home and we went to the hospital behind my house, they too 2 fucking hours to check me, my knee was really swollen, and i couldnt even walk so they put me in a wheelchair, they put some ice, check me, made some xray (for nothing), and then put me an inyection on my ass, then i started feeling really dizzy and my pressure went down... after i got alright they cover my whole leg and gave me a full week for rest... so yea, no longboarding for me for awhile... but shit happens, its part of the sport and i love it!
