This is it, the absolute last time they are planning a getaway through Jesse. The "wonderful and relaxing" place he'd recommended had been taken. She and Lucy just wanted to get away for a bit and by the end of it, they weren't choosey. They should have been. From now on, Kate is only going places that people have first hand knowledge of. They have to have been there recently. Otherwise, they'll just shut up in the apartment for a few days. The door will go unanswered unless it's someone delivering food. The only calls from their phones will be outgoing.
By the time they reached this place, they were too tired to see the various problems. The bedroom being a big one. Which is why Kate is camped out on the couch.
Lucy's always been stubborn and is trying to ignore the problems. The one in the bed room winds up being a bigger one than they thought.
