just wondering where the whole 2 week rule came from with H & L?

was it just a rumour that keeps getting confirmed when their tour schedules keep lining up?

Hi, darling. I’m pretty sure it was just a joke at first, because the two week rule thing is something other couples actually do. And then people started to identify the pattern for Harry and Louis as well, and the more we noticed, the more it started to get confirmed. So I’m not sure if it was already a thing for them or if we made it a thing and they just embraced lol Because then Harry had to go and write “two weeks and I will be home” like we haven’t been talking about that for years 😭

But this is something much older from when they were younger, nowadays it seems to me that it’s much harder to keep following that with both tours happening. Although I’m sure they try to see each other as often as they can, and they plan their tours to have the much time off together as they can (like right now). Do you believe in the two week rule? Do you think they are being able to pull it out? Harry is been so busy he doesn't stop one minute between filming, writing, now hs3 and tour, then movie promo... :( and louis is on tour now. I just hope they find the time to meet each other and spend some quality time together

A lot of fans take the "two week rule" super literally, when in reality it's something that MANY couples do when they are in long distance relationships. It's just a method to see each other frequently. It doesn't have to be 2 weeks on the dot. Life gets in the way all the time too. Maybe you have a big project on the 2nd week, so you can't see your partner then. Or you have something that lasts a whole month and you can't spare time to travel or give them attention. It's just a baseline to try and follow and see each other frequently, commitments allowing.

I've done this a lot throughout my life. And I know SO MANY other couples who have too.

Harry and Louis have the benefit of being multimillionaires who can hop on a flight anywhere at their heart's desire, even if it's for 1 or 2 days. They do that. So even tho Louis was touring in the US and H was filming stuff for Harry's House in the UK, he could've easily flown for a day with Louis. We know he flew to LA twice to spend just 1 or 2 days there for business. He could've done the same for Louis. And vice versa.

I don't think this is something to worry about. They're a couple and as such they'll make time for each other when they can. If they have to not see each other for a month while the other is working half a world away, so be it. It's not the end of the world and literally nearly every couple has done something similar at some point even tho not everyone is a multimillionaire international popstar.

Tbh we dont know where Harry is! People assume London or somewhere in Italy because of Olivia but he also has to get to the US for his residencies and could perfectly be in LA right now. I am not saying they are together right now but if I learned something from Chrissy Teigen is that a flight from/to LA for 11 hrs to just spend 5 hrs with your husband is like a regular Tuesday in the celeb world lol the amount of crazy travels some of those people do to see their SO for a short amount of time is hectic.

You're not bothering at all.

The two week rule is basically a thing that Larries noticed about Louis and Harry. In an interview Victoria Beckham and David Beckham said that they don't spend more than 2 weeks apart from one another.

After closely analyzing Larry, some larries noticed that both Louis and Harry never stay away from each other more than 2 weeks. Even when the hiatus started, both Louis and Harry always returned to the same country/city within 2 weeks. They were always close by each other and a few minutes away from each other.

There was a time though, when both L and H were longer apart than 2 weeks, and that is when they probably wrote Home and If I Could Fly. I think that was in 2015 or something or 2014. I also think that could have been because they took a break, but I have no idea if the timelines match. I will have to look into that later.

La famosa regla de las dos semanas...

Quiero aclarar que ellos no inventaron esta regla, muchas parejas del mundo del entretenimiento la siguen, para que la relación funcione.

¿En qué consiste?

La regla consiste en que la pareja no puede pasar más de dos semanas sin verse, ya que en el mundo del entretenimiento, tienen que estar en constantes viajes de trabajo, grabaciones, etc.

Esto NO significa que las parejas se vean cada 15 días. Sólo se usaría en tiempos de trabajo duro o viajes constantes.

¿Harry y Louis la siguen?

Como dije, muchas parejas de este mundo lo hacen, pero aquí es donde entran las famosas fotos y teorías:

La teoría de la que muchas fans hablan, es que durante el tiempo que están separados (ya sea grabando canciones, de viaje, firmado, etc...) Aprovechan para hacer pap-walks o fotos con fans, para después desaparecer del ojo público otra vez.

¿Por qué?

Ayudaría a demostrar que ellos no están juntos, haciendo parecer que están en lugares diferentes. (Cuando desaparecen del ojo público sería cuando ellos están juntos).

Quiero aclarar de nuevo que no significa que ellos se ven cada 2 semanas, sino, que aparecerían de nuevo, en diferentes lugares para que parezca que han estado ahí todo el tiempo.

there's only lthq and hshq but not of any other boys. zayn has one but the name is different. and not to mention lthq and hshq were made TWO WEEKS apart. they really are that extra.
