3 Fakes and a Real
A 5 games suspension sounds about right, but at least some of them should have been during the regular season for that sucker punch on Ekblad. Real injuries = real consequences?

43rd Time Shame On Me
One day that adult man, who keeps doing the same thing over and over again, with no serious repercussions, will learn!
Nothing creates a fanbase stronger than ALMOST making it.
I don’t think I have ever seen someone so happy in life.
Just a disclaimer, when I use quotation marks (””) in the comic, it’s an actual quote, and not just nonsense I made up (like usual). So any grammar or spelling issues stay as is and aren’t typos.
I like to think that a general ambivalence and disinterest in soccer is the cement of US-Canadian relations.
If Vegas wins it all this year at home, it might possibly be the first time ever that Gary ISN’T “booed!”
I get why people think Vegas making it this far is an embarrassment, especially from a “hockey purist” standpoint. The idea that it’s all for the fans, and that there should be suffering before reward, is hard to shake.
But this is a business. And with new teams in new markets, the quickest way to secure success is to establish a winner as soon as possible. If any other sport tries to move into Vegas, they are going to have to compete with the fact that it is now a hockey town.
For people from traditional markets this might suck, but for the business of the NHL, this is the biggest win they’ve had in a long time. Can’t wait until they screw it up with the next lockout.
Florida just might be the perfect fit. And not to mention the absolute masterful trade work by Sharks management!
I feel like the speed at which these trades happened is going to seem snail-like after this draft weekend.
Last week was pretty crazy with all this coming out, and then apparently there’s new stuff that has come out today. Something about an altercation between Karlsson and Hoffman. I can’t keep up.
