Oh uhmmmm then Toryn and Dusk !!! For the whose their favorite canon character question :3
Happy pride month!
I thought it would be fun to just give my characters their flags and see what they thought of the appearance.
Ruse is the only one with more than one because the only one who would find comfort in that amount of specificity.
My OCs
—
Since I have so many ocs, I just thought it would be nice to make kind of a list of the ones I most actively use. Feel free to ask any question about any of the characters here, or if you know of any other of my characters not listed, feel free to ask for them to be placed here. I’ll try to keep this as updated as I can. I have a link to all my OCs here, but that’s just their names and how far I’ve written with their stories.
A lot of them are from @/return-to-twisted-wonderland, and while I’m adding some important links for characters, none will be from there since I’ve written a lot on that blog. If you want to search for any character on there, feel free to search using their full name as a tag or my tag as 🔆anon.
Just to note, I have altered canon for some of them (beyond making them exist). I won’t mention much here, but here’s a link to them plus some for other characters, I’ll link them. And none of my ocs are in the same canon as each other unless stated otherwise.
Also, a lot of my characters are tied to canon characters, either with family or ships. Due to the tag limit, I can’t really tag every single one. If you’re a have any reason that might make you uncomfortable, feel free to ignore this or any character. Tags to block will be their full name, twst then their first name, and/or “(ship name) ship” and the ship name will be in one of the descriptions.
Thank you for reading that, now on with the ocs.

I wanted to put on the spotlight some of my OCs’ friendships that I think I ignore too much, especially with how I focus mostly on their romantic relationships. (Justice for friendships!! /silly)
Some OCs will repeat if they have multiple friendships. Also these are in no particular order, just the first in the order I thought of them.

Dekker:
Dekker and Ruggie - They trade info often. Ruggie has info on people and Dekker has info on jobs and food. But after their trades, they keep talking. Since Ruggie knows full well what Dekker is doing, he feels no need to hide it and got comfortable enough to just start yapping and complaining. (He doesn’t complain about specific people, more just how hard his web is to upkeep.) Then ofc Ruggie started talking and complaining about jobs and experiences of his own. Will they ever call each other “friends”? Probably not. Will they go to each other if they need to talk or vent with no fear of judgement? Yeah.
—
Dusk:
Dusk and Ortho - Dusk is technically a first year and shares a class with Sebek despite his age. As a consequence, he hangs out with first years more often than he would otherwise. And when Sebek got close to Ace, Deuce, Epel, Jack, and Ortho in particular, Dusk tagged along. He’s not necessarily a part of the group, but he is close with them, especially Ortho. They don’t have a reason they’re friends other than they get along very well. Their conversations are mostly chill and they like to talk about games and sometimes science. Dusk does sometimes forget how reactive Ortho can be so does get shocked when Ortho jumps to violence (which is ironic).
Dusk and Floyd - Chaos lover and Chaos lover. For one, these two spar quite often. It’s honestly probably how they became friends. Dusk also likes to egg Floyd on when Floyd is going to mess with someone, namely Azul. Dusk tends to join in. They aren’t always messing around, sometimes they do just talk which are surprisingly chill moments for the both of them. They talk about life, what’s bugging them, and more just general topics. Sometimes one of them will just sit there, especially if they’re pissed. Neither asks the other to change or calm down, which they both appreciate.
Dusk and Jade - They met through Floyd, but you’re just adding another chaos lover into the mix. Jade might not be as open or messy as Dusk, but his schemes are certainly appreciated. Not to mention, since Dusk is interested in chemistry, he’s interested in the chemical reactions of mushrooms and will listen to Jade yap. He’ll even be able to talk back with his own information.
I was going to add Azul, but they’re kind of friends of friends who just happen to exist together a lot with how much Dusk and the tweels hang out.
—
Toryn:
Toryn and Riddle - At first Riddle was not happy to have Toryn in the club knowing his brothers, but Toryn proved to be a good club mate and actually pretty good with the horses. They might not hang out outside of club time, but they talk a decent amount during it and share mutual respect.
Toryn and Silver - Very similar to Toryn and Riddle, but they hang out more outside of club since they run into each other more. They’re both very chill and get along well. They’re just understanding people who like to talk in their downtime.
Toryn and Malleus - They share a class, and Toryn didn’t know who Malleus was thus wasn’t hesitant to pair up. He did feel Malleus’ aura, but didn’t want to let “vibes” scare him. After that they just became eternal partners for class projects. Ofc, they end up talking a decent amount during that time, both about the project and in general. Though, Toryn often has to make sure Silver or someone close to Malleus has reminders for time and place, just in case Malleus forgets.
—
Ruse:
Ruse and Kalim - I often talk about how important the Pop Music Club is to Ruse, but I tend to focus on Cater and Lilia due to how important those two are to his story, but Kalim definitely is there for Ruse. He doesn’t hold anger or judgement to Ruse for acting important or just generally not knowing how to socialize. Plus he’s always very happy to listen to Ruse talk about his interests when Ruse started finding them. Kalim did overwhelm him at first, but they learned to balance that for the most part. Ruse also does what he can to show kindness and friendship with Kalim, which I think Kalim notices, even if it’s not the typical way.
—
Kit:
I can’t use orange again ;-; so pink we go
Kit and Azul - Both in the Board Game Club and since board games are a massive hobby for Kit, she tends to bond pretty easily with those who will play with her. Not to mention, Azul doesn’t go easy on her so she actually gets a challenge and has to find more ways to try and outsmart him. They ofc end up talking and existing together outside of board games, but it definitely is the thing that did a lot for their friendship.
Kit and Idia - Very similar to Kit and Azul, but since Idia is more into board games, he and Kit are even closer. Idia will even send her animes to watch so they can talk about it together. Video games sometimes too (though she doesn’t play too many video games). I can see her even collecting stuff like Pokemon or YuGiOh cards if Idia ever shows her the anime or games.

Finished Baby Dusk!!
I’m actually pretty proud of this! Plus im using something I learned in Artfight! Yay!
Let’s go Little Bat!
And again, inspired by @blondeaxolotl, check out their blog for more cute babies. (Sorry for the tag again, but since you saw it as a messy sketch, I thought tyou might want to see the finished version.)
Relationship chart for Dusk
Sequel to this (also linked at the bottom)
Read more about Dusk on @return-to-twisted-wonderland. (Info there takes precedence over this.)
Green more means positive opinions rather than specifically friends.
Specific opinions under cut:
Baby Dusk
But a sketch so I have it out before I ruin it with line art ._.
He was born with a lot of hair and thick hair. And Lilia did not want to try and cut it since Dusk never sat still. (And if it just happened to look really similar to Lilia’s own hairstyle at the time, well that’s just a coincidence.) Also yes, Dusk kept the same hairstyle from infancy, but theres lore behind that choice.
—
First time drawing a baby and the first sketch I made was so bad I had to trash it entirely. ;-; But luckily I am actually pretty proud of this one. (Also the 1842 is just some math I did. It should roughly be the year Dusk was born if TWST takes place today)
Inspired by @blondeaxolotl’s baby drawings. If you want more really cute babies, go check out their blog.
I’ve been thinking on this and wanted to share.

Which of my ocs is the most likely to turn to violence?:
In general, Dusk. Unequivocally Dusk. But that’s mostly because he has an extremely hard time with emotional regulation and can get angry extremely easily. He never wants to be violent.
So thinking on the first to use violence with intention, I’d say the answer is Toryn. He is a chill guy, and most of the time he might apologize to the person hitting him. But the second someone threatens to even touch someone he counts as family, he will knock them flat.
Other characters might use intimidation before blows, but Toryn will punch the second he’s sure he didn’t mishear.
Second place is Malynne. She is a Draconia and has confidence in her intimation ability, so if that doesn’t work and she or her family is still under threat, bye bye. Especially since she has been on the end of negative intentions, which cost her life as she knew it.
—
And in the flip side, which of my ocs are the least likely to turn to violence?:
The title probably has to go to Suna. He despises fighting and while he can get defensive or emotional, he likely wouldn’t throw a punch unless it’s life or death. Even then, he’d wait to hit a weak spot before getting out of there.
Not to mention, the man is a doctor. He’s been studying medicine since he was six. He’s seen violence and other things cause bad injuries, plus he’s been on the bad side of violent patients.
Fighting is against his morals in two ways, plus he just doesn’t tend to enjoy things such as sparring or more fighting based sports.
But, if we were to add intention back in, I’d probably place Dusk here too. And Ruse.
Both Dusk and Ruse are emotional people that have big outbursts. Dusk is known for violent or aggressive ones, but Ruse is likely to have anger go to his head. (I still think getting Ruse to have force would require a specific provocation or someone continuing to badger him when he’s already upset.)
Yet neither enjoy fighting, or even really sparring. They’re both very pacifistic people on the inside.
Dusk specifically refuses to join the royal guard and take up his dad’s position or weapon. Even though he views Malleus as a little brother. In the future, he finds a job in disaster relief/search and rescue.
