Lilia:
he's a military man, of course he knows how to communicate without words
though military hand signals are a bit different than sign language, he easily adapts and learns it
He's actually very respectful, and doesn't even blink at the fact that you don't speak
Lilia's met all kinds of people, so he knows about some people being mute for a variety of different reasons
I mentioned this in my deaf reader post with Malleus, but fae in Brair Valley use magic for almost everything, so they probably use it to communicate without words too
if you're capable of magic, he'd help you learn how the fae communicate silently so you can have an easier time communicating with others without speaking
that being said, if you don't want to, he's got absolutely no problem communicating with you however you want to
heck, he'd play charades if that's what you wanted to do, and he'd have a blast with it
He has no problem helping you communicate and speak with others when they struggle to understand or try talking to you and expecting you to speak
He's one that can easily fill any awkward silence and make it fun and quickly drop any tension
if you wanted to speak someday, he's positive there's a way. I mean, he's close with the top mages of the world and knows a thing or two that can help
But if you're fine and don't care for it, by all means, he's happy just the way things are
Leona:

Okay in a not mean way, he loves it
Leona doesn't like loud people, and prefers the quiet and calm, so you two get along well
You're free to communicate however you want, but he'll probably not pay much attention
That doesn't mean he doesn't understand you though!
Leona is very good at reading body language and expressions (including micro-expressions), so he does often know how you're feeling or what's on your mind!
it's okay though, because you can read him too without much effort. He's not super expressive, but his tail gives away how he's feeling (and he's a simple man)
so most of the time it's like silent conversations between the two of you where neither of you needs to speak
if he sees someone struggling to communicate with you, he'll be watching with a smug smirk because he knows how to
only after a few minutes of watching with great amusement will he actually step in and help, and then tell them to find a better way to communicate
It doesn't matter to him if you're selectively mute or if there's a physical cause for it, he's not going to ask anyway
if it's possible someday for you to speak, and you want to, he'd help you practice in private, but he'd never push you or ask you to
he'll just keep having these silent conversations with you and speaking without words
Idia:
this man has never met a mute person in his life, but great seven he wishes it was him sometimes
he's used to communicating without words, so he's got this
though he does feel awkward being the only one talking, so he talks with his tablet and lets you talk with it too if you want
He's full of anxiety about doing something wrong or offensive, so he's researching mute people on the internet once he's alone
Later, he comes to you with a custom tablet to help you communicate with other quickly without the full effort of typing each time
honestly, most of the student body knows he communicates using his tablet to speak, so they're pretty used to it if that's how you do too
but if you use sign language, he develops an app to translate it automatically in real time for him and others to understand
Idia can't even pressure himself into doing things, so there's no chance he's gonna pressure you to try and speak or anything. The idea of even suggesting makes him want to disappear into the earth
the same goes for asking questions, like he thinks it'll be so embarrassing or he'll upset you by asking how/why, so he avoids asking and just accepts it
Twst! Ryker:
I actually do know a little bit of sign language!
my sister helped teach me some a long time ago
I don't know a lot of words, so he'd probably use a phone or paper to help us talk
To be honest, I didn't know much about being mute before making this, so twst! Ryker wouldn't either
Twst! Ryker would try to ask questions in the nicest way to not offend but also learn about it
Twst! Ryker will have no issue filling the silence and talking non-stop if you let him
Bad at studying reactions, so if you need a moment or to interrupt for a sec, hold up a hand or to be honest, just slap a hand over his mouth
Twst! Ryker is trying his best, and would only help if you asked or invited him over to help communicating

Question: Does Leona like laser pointers?
Answer: Maybe. But definitely not if someone is watching.
Leona lazed in one of the chairs by the Savannaclaw pool, soaking up the sun as he prepared for yet another nap. Yet, from the bushes, there was a faint rustling. He doesn't really care since it could very well be any Savannaclaw student. That was, until he heard a small click, and opened his eyes to tell the person in the bushes to be quiet. Except his eyes instantly narrowed in on the small red dot on the ground next to him. He didn't move, simply glared at the dot like it insulted him. For a moment his eyes flicked to the bush, where a small laser pointer poked out, and then back to the dot. Normally for such stupidity, he'd turn away, but not for this. His tail flicked, but even as the dot moved along the ground, he didn't move. Leona's gaze followed it, but that's it. It was a stalemate that lasted for at least ten minutes before there was another click, and the dot disappeared. With a huff, Leona rolled over and closed his eyes again to try and nap. The faint sound of clawed feet tapping away on the ground signaled he could finally be alone.
Question: Does Azul use glitter pens for contracts?
Answer: Yes, but only if it's the only pen in his office.
Azul is at his wits end. Yesterday he noticed a new pen placed on his desk beside the others, standing out due to the sparkling purple ink inside the clear casing. He passed it off as something slipped in by Floyd, and didn't pay attention to it. Today however, he went into his office to discover every ordinary pen disappeared, being left with only the purple glittering pen. He has contract meetings today! Where did they take his pens?! To his frustration, neither Floyd nor Jade are admitting to taking his pens, nor do they have any spares! Begrudgingly, he has to make do. Each contract that day was signed in glittery purple ink. He purchased new pens the next day. While Jade and Floyd didn't take his pens, they may have left the door open for a certain bird to take them and give him his new pen.
Question: Can Idia's hair cook a marshmallow?
Answer: Much to the disappointment of everyone, no. Neither does Ortho's hair.
Idia is having a weird day. First, Ortho came to him complaining of finding marshmallows appearing around him. Then Idia started finding marshmallows. At first they were just in his area, left outside his door, appearing on his desk, even being sent in a package a couple times. Then he started finding them ON him! One in the hood of his sweatshirt, a tiny one in his sleeve, and on him when he woke up! It's like he's being stalked by marshmallows. Creepy. Ortho is in charge of security, so he had to know something. But when asked, he just giggled and didn't answer. But he figured it out eventually. When there was a meeting called for housewardens that they all had to attend in person, he thought he could get a break from the marshmallows. HAH, wrong. He's trying to be stealthy, walking quickly at night, then he felt it as he walked beneath a tree. A small thump against his head like something falling on it. His hand instinctively moves up and wipes at his head, only for a large marshmallow to fall off, perfectly clean and uncooked. Slightly terrified, he looked up, and became more terrified. The biggest bird he's ever seen, a whole peacock, was just perched on a branch staring down at him, marshmallow in beak and a dozen more in a bag on it's hip. It's long tail (which he'd mistaken for a tree branch at a glance) hung down and even brushed against his shoulder. The two stared at each other for a solid minute before the marshmallow in it's beak dropped, hitting him square on the forehead. Marshmallows weren't following him, but a peacock with marshmallows certainly was.
Question: How many animals does Kalim have?
Answer: He doesn't know, and the exact number is hard to track. Jamil however, knows exactly how many he has.
Just another day in Scarabia, where Kalim was throwing a celebration for some random event. At this point, who knows what it's for? So once again, all the animals had to be brought out. Elephants, camels, peacocks, and many more animals all adorned with colors. Kalim didn't see anything wrong, and was having a grand time with the animals. Jamil on the other hand, was glaring daggers at the group of peacocks gathered together. Jamil was in charge of Kalim's stuff, of course he knows the exact amount of animals Kalim has, even when he's getting more, he knows the exact amount. That's why it's so unnatural that there's an extra animal here. There is exactly one more peacock than there's supposed to be. Sure, it wasn't causing trouble, but where did it come from? He's heard strange reports from some other students about weird birds around the campus, but a peacock? Yet as he stared at the bird, it stared back for a solid minute, a silent interrogation taking place. Kalim asked Jamil what was wrong, and he just brushed it off as nothing. When he looked back to the peacock, it was strutting quickly towards the entrance, holding a piece of food in it's beak. Yeah, he didn't have the energy to chase after it.

I play on the ENG server, so I can't write for characters that aren't out yet on that server, as I don't know them

NRC School Newspaper: A Birthday Interview with Ryker Crowley
Happy birthday!
Thank you! I gotta say that this has been one of my best birthdays so far! I love how NRC celebrates birthdays, and since we had one yesterday, it's like one very long party.
That's right, we celebrated Riddle's birthday yesterday.
Yup! Me and Riddle are pretty similar in a lot of ways. Aside from our birthday's being one day apart, we're also the same height, and even some of our personality. I'm a big rule follower and pretty strict when it comes to my school work and grades too.
Are you two close?
Well I'm a Heartslabyul student and he's my dorm leader, so we see each other often. I'd say we get along pretty well, but I wouldn't consider us close.
Who are you close with?
I get along really well with Ruggie, Silver, and Idia. I'd consider them pretty close friends. Ruggie is always fun to do practically anything with, even if it's working jobs, he can make it fun. Silver is really easy to talk to and fun to hang around with. He's the kind of friend I know I can always count on. Idia is the one that I spend most of my time with tho. It's not intentional, but when you're playing your favorite game or watching your favorite anime, you tend to lose track of time.
What are your favorite games and animes?
Some of my favorite games are Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Pokemon, and Stardew Valley. As for anime...my favorite has to be One Piece. It's a very long one, and I'm not done yet, but I love it. I also like Black Butler, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Death Note.
Do you have any dreams for the future?
I want to become an author. I love writing so much, and I'm even taking writing college classes right now. I have a bunch of short stories that I've written and debated creating a separate blog for, but I'm unsure if anyone would even care about it. But I also have an idea for a book I want to write, so completing and publishing that would be my ultimate goal.
Speaking of your writing, how is your blog doing?
It's doing great! I say it often, but I never imagined I'd get as much support as I did. I'm really grateful to all of my followers who give me feedback and requests. I really love seeing their comments and responding. Hearing their thoughts, what they want more of, and interacting with them always makes me happy!
What's your most popular series?
Definitely my broken sibling relationship series. I'm honestly surprised how much everyone loves the angst. It started with Vil after a slight mention that I had an idea for how it could go wrong, but people keep wanting more. Those take a little bit longer to write than most requests, but I always love doing it.
Considering you've written so much sibling angst, if you had to choose someone at NRC to be your sibling, who would it be?
Oh man. That's a pretty tough decision, but I think I would have to say Malleus. He's pretty lonely most of the time, but I think if he had a sibling, he would be a bit happier. I firmly believe that Malleus would treat his sibling very well. Plus, I think growing up with him would've been very fun. I would've loved to be a part of Malleus' family.
Do you consider anyone in Twisted Wonderland your family?
I've accepted Crowley as my bird dad. I know most people wouldn't, but I do.
How are you enjoying Twisted Wonderland?
I love it! I've been playing for a little over a year now. I originally came to Twisted Wonderland through Obey Me, but I play more Twisted Wonderland now. I'm a proud owner of 25 SSR cards, and love the story. My favorite characters have to be Sebek, Leona, and Silver.
What are you talking about?

Uh, okay. Can you tell us about your clothing style?
Sure! It varies from day to day depending of if I'm feeling more feminine or masculine, but lately I've been wearing a lot of Hawaiian shirts. My friend @l1ttleclouds actually made me an aesthetic board for my normal style. Take a look!
Nice! Are there any fun facts about you that most people don't know?
I always have trouble coming up with fun facts, especially ones that most people don't know. So I decided to come up with a few that people may or may not know; I love horror, I have a few succulents, and my eyes have two different colors. To clarify that last one, my eyes aren't two different colors, but each eye has two colors in it. Not mixed together, but separated. So about half of each iris is green, and half is brown. Fun!

REALISTICALLY how well I would get along with TWST characters (Diasomnia Edition)
I realize that this isn't something people probably care about, but this has been in my brain for a while. This is looking at how well I would get along with the characters if I was actually there. My goal is to be realistic so even if I absolutely love a character, we might not be able to actually get along
Malleus:
not super well
don't get me wrong I love Malleus so much and in an ideal world we would be best friends
but realistically I would be too scared to approach him
I'm scared of interacting with most people so interacting with a dragon prince who's one of the strongest mages is off the table
real me would be so intimidated
the fact that he's being guarded most of the time doesn't help
I live in fear of doing anything in front of Malleus and getting yelled at by Sebek
if for some reason he spoke to me I would be so nervous when answering
terrified even
I would just do whatever he asks with no questions
but we wouldn't really talk
so we wouldn't really be friends
Lilia:

if my first encounter with him was him hanging upside down then I would be a little creeped out
but I do feel like he's another person that's easy to get along with
tho I'm not sure how much we would talk in general
if we talked about video games I'm sure we could get along well
but if it's about anything else then I don't know
once I knew about how strong he actually is I would be intimidated
but I would still be able to talk to him if I needed to

Silver:

him being so calm and relaxed with everything would make me feel more calm around him
if he fell asleep anywhere near me I would try not to move in fear of waking him
but he's very nice and easy to talk to
he's a very understanding guy so I wouldn't feel as anxious around him
would hand him the notes he missed if he fell asleep during class
I would try to be discreet tho like just slide it in front of him while he's sleeping and leave

don't get me wrong, I love Leona
he's my favorite character
but we would not get along in reality
I would be absolutely terrified of him
If I was in front of him or had to talk to him I would literally be shaking in fear

I would not be able to even approach him
if somehow we talked I would be so nervous and would be barely managing sentences
would do anything he said because I'm to scared to refuse
he would most likely see me as annoying and weak

I can respect the working man
nine times out of ten would share my food with him if I thought he wanted some

we're both gamers, love anime, introverts, socially awkward, and live in constant anxiety
gamer friends for life
but really he is so relatable
If I was sitting in class and saw someone attending on a tablet I would immediately wonder how I can do that
even tho I'm awkward with interacting with people I would bring myself to ask him
he would be able to help me any time I get stuck in a game and maybe make fun of me for it
also he's much more of a tech person and would totally judge my gaming set up and computer
but overall best friend material
the chances of us meeting and talking enough to become best friends are slim tho
Ortho:

Ortho is someone that I think is hard not to get along with
only way he wouldn't like you is if you're mean to Idia
very sweet boy and easy to talk to
and he understands the anxiety and social awkwardness better
10/10 times would play video games with him
he would probably try to introduce me to Idia and be one of the very few ways me and Iida would become friends
He would probably be one of the very few I would feel perfectly comfortable talking to
