So I wrote more with my Dio kids.
And it’s more naga au
Because that’s what my brain’s been stuck on
I dunno why, that’s just where I’m at rn
Gotta live with it
Just a smol Twyla looking for some comfort in bad weather because nobody can get enough of that
It wasn’t unusual for Jotaro to hear his door creak open in the middle of the night, especially one as stormy as this. Usually LB or another small person around the house would be frightened into the safety of his coils or his stomach for the rest of the night, letting the gentle gurgles cover the sound of thunder and lightning.
But this time was different… Jolyne was still curled in her little hammock, and the lack of little pitter-pattering footsteps confirmed it wasn’t LB… options were limited from that point on, and it was only in the flash of a lightning strike that he caught a glimpse of blonde hair and pale magenta scales, causing him to initially tense.
Twyla? What was the daughter of Dio doing in here of all places? After that… rough first meeting, she’d mostly stuck to Joseph or Josuke, giving him a wide berth. Couldn’t blame the kid, after all he *had* threatened to rip the rattle at the end of her tail out… fuck, he’d really gone overboard with that crap. Lucky Jolyne hadn’t seen him like that, that wasn’t exactly the example he wanted to set for his daughter…
Another flash of light, and the small naga was crawling into his bed, eyes tired but wide in fear, shivering as she went to curl up with the larger, shivering as the next crash of thunder overhead seemed to set the windows rattling, the wind howling like a fearsome creature outside.
Initially Jotaro was unsure what to do with the small naga… thus far she’d been afraid of him, and this was the spawn of his possibly worst enemy, but she was also a child… A scared child right now…
Despite his own hesitance, instinct was still roaring in his chest, the urge to protect this little one from whatever was frightening her and keep her close. He settled for curling himself around the small naga, coils forming a protective barrier between her and the outside world as she latched on to him, face buried in his stomach as she whimpered. A large hand brushed through that mess of thick blonde hair, running through the strands and down her back before rising again, gently stroking the small’s back as he sighed.
“‘M sorry..,” Twyla whispered, so faint he almost didn’t hear it, her hands clutching his shirt as she whimpered with the next crack of thunder, “didn’t… didn’t mean to… couldn’t see… s-sorry…”
Jotaro sighed, continuing his ruffling of the little naga’s hair, fingers finding her little bow and going to undo it as he brought her up a bit towards his face, “you’re not the first to wake me in the middle of the night, and you’re not going to be the last. Stop apologizing…”
If Jolyne was in this position, and she had been before, frightened and seeking comfort, he’d want someone to comfort her. Just because of a bloodline, he couldn’t just let this child suffer… God, he’d fucked up before, nothing he could do was going to change that first meeting, but hopefully he could do something to show he wasn’t a complete monster.
Another sigh left his lips before he asked softly, “do you want to go inside?”
After the last experience, with how rough and frightening he’d been with her brother, he wouldn’t blame the small naga for being fearful of the idea, though was pleasantly surprised when Twyla whimpered and butted her head against his chin. A sign as universal to a naga as the “pick me up” gesture was to a human.
His jaws parted automatically, the head passing his lips larger than his own daughters, but still manageable after years of dealing with Josuke when he was a kid. She was still whimpering and shivering, though this time not because of him, if anything she leaned into the motions of his jaws and tongue. Trying to push herself forward into that deep warmth, away from the frightening sounds outside.
Jotaro found himself purring deep in his chest as he gulped down the smaller naga, her head and shoulders slipping down his throat with a thick swallow, trembling tail following after with relative ease. A far cry from the first time he’d roughly swallowed down her brother…
He settled back on his bed, setting aside the hair ribbon he’d undone before resting a hand on his middle to feel the little slithery form slip inside, his stomach welcoming the young naga with a soft groan as his abs visibly bloated outward with the small form. She shifted around inside, small hands pushing out against the walls for a moment as she settled down, the larger naga’s middle gurgling and groaning in response until she coiled up in the somewhat tight confines.
Seemed she didn’t know what to make of her new surroundings, Jotaro feeling a few odd rubs and pokes from the small form, a frown crossing his face as he poked at the small bulge she made, the squirms stopping for a moment before the faintest of giggles reached his ears.
The larger naga sighed as he settled back in bed, keeping his hand on his stomach, “Now settle down, get some sleep.”
He had a distinct feeling her brother would be less than happy in the morning when he found out about this, but Jotaro would deal with the feisty kid later. For now, he could revel in the familiar warmth of a full belly and the sounds of the storm outside as he settled down to sleep.
