i accidentally hyperfocused on picking all my nail polish off in the shower instead of, like, y'know- going to bed

and i was reminded of this one dude a few grades above me in high school and how his mom (at the suggestion of my mom, bc everyone knows everyone, hashtag small town) painted his nails bright pink while he was sleeping to get him to cut them/stop biting them and his response was to repaint them black (i think) bc it 'suited his vibe' or w/e better tho i am pretty sure he did stop biting them

and then i got to thinking about how my mom has a lot of internalized homophobia and had me convinced until i was like 17 (and had spent more time on the internet) that it was Perfectly Normal for women to find women more attractive than men, don't worry, you'll get a cute boyfriend one day anyway

and also for adult women to sleep naked with their best friend, which. sure, ig??? (no, unless you're Sleeping Together, probably not a usual occurrence)

Yesterday I ordered a shirt that has 'worship her' written on it and my mum was like 'well that's obviously a men's shirt.' Like??? I just don't understand how people think like that.

First of all, it was a women's shirt and second of all, even if it was a men's shirt, it looks cool so imma buy it????
