Tyler, the semi organized computer scientist?
I apologize for my month long hiatus, but things got busy over here and I couldn’t keep up.

The fall semester starts in 3 months, so I’m trying to enjoy the break for what it is. Which means more “me” time with a little studying here and there. Next month I start a class which should put me back on track to graduate on time. That’s all for now!

Is this .... consistency? Anyway I had 2 finals today: Anthropology which I finished in AN HOUR and Geology which took me 37 MINUTES- I kid you not. Both exams were 3 hours long (as all exams are). It’s crazy. I have one more final tomorrow and that’s Systems Programming.

This week has probably been the worst week ever and it JUST STARTED. Aside from being thrown into two of the hardest classes a transfer Comp Sci student can take, I had to add on another class just so I can graduate on time. So if you want to count lectures, labs and recitation? I’m attending a total of 8 different classes although (it’s 5 classes if you want to pair a lecture to its respective lab). BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE!
I SPRAINED MY NECK AGAIN. I kid you not. I have a bad habit of cracking my neck to relieve the pressure and this time I did it too hard and aggravated an old injury I had. So fast forward through the emergency room trip I was prescribed meds that knocked me out for the entire day. I didn’t get anything done. The only bright side to this was how understanding one of my Comp Sci professors was. I met with him to get help on an assignment that was due soon and told him what happened and he told me that was a valid excuse to be exempt from the assignment. I denied his offer, completed the assignment and submitted it early. Anyway I’m going to continue to try my best 😂

I’m overwhelmed at this point which is pretty sad seeing how it’s only the third week of school. I’ve started to plan everything down to the last minute. Hopefully it helps.

I have two exams next week and I’m trying my best to study for them. I’ve lost some motivation but it’s okay. In other news I was thinking of vlogging?? Just on how I became a Software Engineer. I’m not a Software Engineer (yet) but I thought it would be cool to document my progress. Thoughts ?
For the compliments thingy. Today I'm going to be at the library from 2:00 to 7:00pm doing homework and I'm really excited!
I hope you got a lot done!
compliment: really cute header + posts!
want one?
Okay I need help! I am a big perfectionist, like it takes me 2 hours + to take a page of notes. I take up so much of my time and it drives me crazy. Do you have any tips on what to do? Thank you so much!
Hi! Okay, so I dealt with this a lot through high school due to OCD and generally being a perfectionist. It drove me crazy and during lectures I would be sitting there silently panicking as I tried to keep up with what was being said and simultaneously write notes to my standard. At least for me, I had to desensitize myself a little. It might really really suck but it’s important in the end. In some cases, it’s okay to be a little perfectionistic/you can find a way around it, but it sounds like this is really messing up your academic life.
