I have one month until my 3rd year of college starts.

I’ve spent all summer doing a research project on California missions and doing a summer stats class (my second time trying to get my math credit for my degree) and both are ending by the end of this coming week.

Once class starts I’ll be interning at my local historical society while also working my university’s library. My schedule is basically completely full except for Wednesdays so I don’t go actually insane (and have a day to schedule all my doctors appointments 💔)

I will know zero peace but I’m genuinely super excited for this coming semester

The Rest of College:

• Determine housing budget, look for houses, review leases, and secure a gurantor.

• In September-October of freshman year, tour apartments and sign a lease.

• Purchase items needed for an apartment and the upcoming year of schooling.

• Fill out the FAFSA on October 1st.

• Fill out any returning student information.

• Apply for scholarships.

• Speak with advisor and choose courses.

• Move into apartment.

• Apply for jobs around campus.

I’ve officially hit the breakdown stage of the semester. I’m trying to adjust and I’ve taken on too many responsibilities and they overlap and no one is willing to negotiate with me so I’m probably gonna have to drop something and so I’m breaking down bc I need my job that I just got and I really like it but I also really want to keep my position in the Student Government Association bc I think I have some ideas that could really help my college but I can’t do both because of time and I can’t blame my job bc they hired me for those specific times but the sga date can be changed or I could attend the meetings via zoom but theyre being hard headed and don’t want to help me figure out how to go about that so I just had a breakdown in my college’s bathroom.

It’s sad how I’m so close to finishing this semester and I’ve been trying to be more positive bc I was told that all I am is negative and judgmental (which I want to believe isn’t true bc I’ve been working really hard to advocate for my profs to keep their jobs bc they might be cut but I just don’t talk about it bc I don’t want ppl to think that I’m just doing it for praise) and things are just crashing down on top of me.

I don’t know what to do.

Junior year has already proven itself to be tough, but if I watch Legally Blonde enough I’m sure I’ll be fine.

being a college junior who is set on going to grad school is HARD and sometimes draining because you know you have to start planning shit now so you can get into a good program but at the same time you’re so uncartain about the future and about what you actually want to do, and there’s so many possibilities and potential things you could do but obviously everything also depends on how you do during the remainder years of college and also on money and you dont even know what your undergrad thesis will be, let alone your grad thesis and there’s just so much! to think! about!
