Now I know the TARDIS Manual by Mike Tucker and Richard Atkinson showed Missy’s TARDIS resembling the 12th Doctor’s TARDIS interior, but I like to imagine she ended up with a later model than a type 40.
I mean, as far as I’ve seen the Master doesn’t have an attachment to their TARDIS the same way the Doctor does, and if the Master escaped Gallifrey — and since we see the Dhawan!Master’s TARDIS — we know they stole one, and what’s the likelihood they just happen to steal another Type 40?
Maybe I just like this idea because I love to imagine later iterations of the TARDIS getting more trippy and weird with their designs. Like the Rani’s TARDIS!! With that time rotor made up of two swirling rings gah I loved that!
The Type 40 (at least the one the Doctor has) seems very set in how the time rotor can be represented (sometimes changing an aspect here or there) so it seems like to have a weirder time rotor you gotta get a later model and I want weirder time rotors dang it!
Since this blog is now 5 years old (!), and with a new Doctor on the way, it seems like a good time to regenerate the logo, avatar and header image. That means that this blog is on its third regeneration, and therefore Earthbound, unable to pilot the TARDIS and stuck working for the Brigadier. Well, at least it has a nice silver bouffant and a bright yellow car.

I'm currently enjoying my summer vacation on a small resort planet, somewhere in the Isop Galaxy. There's no one around but a Voord, a few Quarks, the occasional Movellan and a small contingent of Ood. Someone said the Face of Boe is here too, but I haven't seen him yet. Maybe he'll show up at the inter-galactic luau tonight.
Meanwhile, why don't you click on the Randomiser above, and explore three years worth of wibbily wobbly, timey wimey blog posts? Enjoy!
