When Kaz Brekker dies in the city he owns, all Inej can do is mourn. But when it starts to become clear that his apparent heart attack may be anything but natural causes, a war breaks out on the streets of Ketterdam. The Wraith demands vengeance for what she has lost, and her answer may lie in the child of one of the richest citizens of Kerch.  It’s a good thing that retirement means Jesper and Wylan have plenty of time on their hands, because there’s a storm coming, and they are right in the middle of it.

i was fortunate enough to have participated in this year’s Grishaverse Big Bang, a fan-run event managed by the talented Tidemakers of the @grishaversebigbang. this is one of three edits for @celestlian’s fic, The Light That Blinds, and it’s so, so lovely. @offrostandflames (x, x) and @6crowgang (x), made beautiful art, and the fic was beta’d by @zemenipearls (whose own writing is also incredible). go check them out!!!
