Type Rider? I hardly know her.
Just finished all the trophies for the first time on a ps4 100% game( type rider) . Not a platinum but I'm happy with it .
A Surprisingly Good Game
Honestly, when I got Type Rider on my ps4, I never expected anything remarkable. Hell, I only got it because I was bored out of my mind. But after playing it, I can honestly say that it was actually really fun!
The platforming was enjoyable, the level themes were nice and varied, the many little gimmicks in each level were never super annoying, and it’s able to be educational without shoving it down your throat. Plus, the secret level was the best thing ever.
I kinda wish it was a bit longer, and a couple segments in the later levels were a bit frustrating, but those are my only real complaints. I give it a 7.5/10
If you have a few hours to burn, it’s definitely worth it. And it’s a nice little source of info if you’re ever taking a literary history course, for some weird reason.
Type:Rider
Developer: Ex Nihilo Publisher: Bulkypix, Plug In Digital Rrp: £5.99 Released: 6th November 2013 Available on Steam Type:Rider is a exploration of how writing and typography has changed and evolved through the ages. It's both a platformer and a educational vehicle. You play as a colon and you roll, and jump through each level. I wish there was more to tell you but that's it... You're one of these : there isn't much else I can tell you. The game starts you off by dropping you into the level select area, which itself is a level. If you go to the left you get to the tutorial, named Origins, everything else is on the right. While you play through you'll pick up asterisk's these unlock pages about the history of that particular piece of type for you to read through. Some of these are quite difficult to get and will require multiple tries. As with every platformer you can die, there isn't any life system so dying just means starting from the nearest checkpoint. Discounting the level select area there are a total of nine levels and a secret level. This game is extremely short, I would only recommend it to those of you who are really interested in typography or artistic games. I completed this with all the asterisk's collected in about an hour. Oh, I advise you skip the secret level, it's unfair and annoying... But that's the whole idea of it really.
Type: Rider. A platform game produced by the European channel Arte. You control two dots who travel across the history of typography. Each time you pass a level, you unlock informative text segments that can be read at anytime (5 languages supported). The graphics and the music are beautiful, this is fun to play and the history of some popular fonts is surprisingly interesting (I finished four chapters so far).
Actually a part of the main Humble Bundle (until April 15), pay what you want for a bundle of some games compatibles with Android, PC, Mac, Linus.

Type-Rider AKA a Sans Suckiness Mobile Game

I always love a well-designed game for the mobile space. Despite the profitability of the 'with friends' franchises, playing such games always makes me feel a bit empty. That's why a game like Type Rider is such a breath of fresh air.
Type Rider is a mobile game which appears to take the user through a history of different typographies. The trailer certainly looks glorious, and I, for one, will be checking it out soon.
