Types of anger expressions
Gotta keep my game face on - DW
These were my two questions yesterday & another I won't disclose here: [a] isn't it better to not hope & risk being angry & disappointed, but wouldn't that lead to despondency? [b] am I being too frivolous with others & not serious enough about life? The fun part is I already got an answer to the anger bit a week ago for a different situation, it's mind boggling how nuanced this whole thing is. There are different types of anger, I might do a post on it later after I've had a few months of success. I'll have to locate the exact sermon on anger.
Quote: To avoid disappointment, accept people exactly as they are, instead of idealizing about who you wish they would be. #healing
Anger is a universal emotion. There are different types of anger a person may experience in different situations. Let's learn about Types of Anger, visit https://yourmentalhealthpal.com/types-of-anger/
Most people who have anger issues tend to say how counting to 10 or taking a deep breath dies not work. But I think it does in some situations. If the anger is explosive then it's not going to work. For me it's almost as if I'm not conciously thinking during an explosive attack; I'm just following my instincts. I literally do not have time to take a deep breath. But I sometimes have this internal anger that is set off by a memory or a realization. It slowly sizzles beneath the surface. Since this type of anger does not happen all at once, I have the time think 'maybe this isn't worth getting upset abou, and maybe I should take a deep breath.'
