I’ve recently been teaching myself how to spin cotton for the first time as something to work on to destress during finals. Fiber has been in my stash for years so it’s nice to actually do something with it. It wants to spin wayyy thinner than I was expecting but i’m having fun

almost done with this mammoth wip! it’s a circular shawl with each stripe representing one of the planets in the solar system (plus pluto), and i just finished neptune. started it in march, would’ve had it done by now but the saturn stripe yarn i had originally didn’t look right and it took 3 tries and some home dyeing to get it right. probably should’ve waited til it was finished and blocked before i posted a pic but i’m impatient
