@tyria-brightaxe continued from ask
A small smirk broke across his otherwise serious features as he drew his sword in kind. He was rusty, yes, but muscle memory and years of training soon took over. She lunged at him and he responded, raising his sword diagonally across his chest. Her blade met his with the clatter of metal against metal.
Cullen was not, however, expecting so much force and for a moment she managed to push him back. Regaining his footing and using both hands to leverage his weight, he pushed back. “Is that the best you’ve got, Warden?”
@tyria-brightaxe liked for a starter from Solas
He had no expected to see her...not here of all places, but there she was... the HERO of Ferelden. He should be more careful, let an agent seek her out, not go on his own like he was... but she was alone too...so he should be fine. “The Hero of Ferelden, not the person I thought I would be meeting during my walk in the moonlight”

“What’s it like being a Warden? Are you scared of the Darkspawn? What about the Calling? Do y’all really ride griffons? Have you ever done it?”
A Cask of Maraas-Lok with a note. ~To the Hissera of The Chargers. I've heard good tales of you.~
He reads the note, holds it up to the sky to see if there’s some kind of insignia, or if there’s more hidden to it. Regardless he brings it in and it’s set up by his chair in the tavern, smarter to have it close by and not have to walk for it after a tankard or two. That being said he calls for Krem, the man enjoys opening casks the exactly improper way so he might as well get a little bit of fun out of it. A few sniffs of it and it makes his eyes water and burns his nose, smells like Maraas-Lok.... He tastes it first and waits to check to see if it’s poisoned before offering it to his second.
