More fish, more fish, more fish! All colored with liveries inspired by real fish. Let's bring some biodiversity to the seas (and freshwater streams) of the Ghost Zone ;) You can see here: Danny Carp, Danny Clownfish and Danny Guppy Koi. (Yes, yes we love fish and there will be many more Danny-fish in the future, sorry not sorry).

This is a collaboration: lineart by @tytach and color by Furiarossa (because this year the artist duo Furiarossa&mimma is split in half! We'll be competing against each other, in two different teams... but still, all the stuff will be posted on the same Tumblr account, or Patreon, or wherever you follow us)

And here's a new feature! Since we're working on a card game, and we want to give all the other participants (and spectators of this event) a fun "demo", we've decided that each of the completed illustrations will be used to make a "Let's Play! Overlord" (more details in the future) card.

All the cards will then be collected at the end in a pdf file and will be freely available to everyone, becoming a print-to-play game that we hope will be fun, and that will include easter eggs and other little treats, but will also be perfectly playable within the main game. 

So here is the new cards of this special promo set: Carp, Clownfish,Koi Guppy.

Was the lineart supposed to be Danny burning Vlad’s castle? Almost definitely. Does Wes look enough like Danny for me to turn it into Wes’s arson on the Ghost King? Absolutely.

(I was too eepy last night, so here we go now! 🦾)

🥺 Is there a certain type of moment or common interaction between your characters that never fails to put you in your feels?

Mmmh, I had to think about this because I definitely have several of these, but one of the most prominent ones would be when Danny gets to melt under affection (both emotional and physical contact) after being starved for it for a long time. My poor blorbo deserves nice things after being tortured.

🤡 What's a line, scene, or exchange you've written that made you laugh?

Since I write mostly for self-indulgence, I have too many examples of this. (≧▽≦) I'm going with one of the freshest ones, tho: in my IB of this year, the mental image of "Santa Claus" scolding the "Easter Bunny" is simply so absurd and hilarious that never fails to make me laugh, along with the scene of the former dangling like a banner from the FentonWorks' neon sign that had been prompted by my artists @phantommoon-art and @halfalix.

🤩 Who is your favorite character to write?

Well, as he's one of my Blorbos, Danny is the one that comes to me more natural than others, but when I get the chance to include him in the story, I also love writing Frostbite. He has such a dad energy that I enjoy transmitting it into words. 〜(￣▽￣〜)

💔 Is there a fic of yours that broke your heart?

Mmh. That's a difficult question. 🤔 Because, like I said, I like to write self-indulgent things, so I almost never write bad or bittersweet endings (my heart yearns for angst, yes, but without the comfort part, having only the hurt side would feel too much like the senselessness of real world events right now, and -even if just in a fictional world- I want a win). But I do have a story where I tried to experiment, a few years ago: The pair 𝕯𝖆𝖞 𝖙𝖜𝖊𝖓𝖙𝖞 𝖙𝖍𝖗𝖊𝖊: 𝕽𝖚𝖎𝖓𝖘 and 𝕯𝖆𝖞 𝖙𝖜𝖊𝖓𝖙𝖞 𝖋𝖔𝖚𝖗: 𝕾𝖜𝖊𝖊𝖙 𝕯𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖒𝖘 that I made for Ectobehaunt '21 about a TUE AU where Dan gets "redeemed" gutted me a bit, ngl.

okay so this was spawned in the invisobang server last year and my plan was to just have it be a bunch of connected drabbles in a funny ass corpse au

Danny leaves his body behind when he becomes a ghost and his body's effectively a corpse until he comes back to it. The fic would follow Sam and Tucker desperately trying to keep anyone from noticing Danny is a corpse.

(i also wanna add a bit where Phantom is seen dragging his body around and the news thinks he's a murderer because of 'corpse dragging sightings' lmao)

think Weekend at Bernies, but it's everyday whenever there's a ghost attack lmao

I don't know of you've already answered this, but I was wondering what you thought about Luca?

I loved Luca. A coming of age story with adorable characters, badass grandmas, parents with hearts of gold, and kidswhoturnintoseamonstersinthewater - all the essential ingredients I look for in a movie. ;D

(Honestly, I was thinking about Treading Water the whole time, so I was ecstatic.)

I guess my only critique was that, the whole time I was watching I kept thinking: They wouldn't dry off that fast! But then I reminded myself that it was a children's movie and got over it.
