I was blessed by @seaglassmelody with an adorable portrait of Cioba!! The sunflowers are part of the tarot I made for her and represent joy, happiness, warmth; also because she's the Sunshine of Salle. The other flowers are ipomoea pes-caprae (beach morning glory) which are a part of her de Riva crest tattoo.

THE NIGHTWING 93 FIC WITH AN OUTSIDER POV??????? i would trust no one but you

so sweet!! hehehehehe

ive spoken about it before but i have a bone to pick with a lot of fic regarding nightwing #93 — that a lot of them bend canon to insult other characters (roy, kory, babs) decenter dick from his own trauma to make other characters look better, can sometimes be insincere depictions of assault, etc — so this is like. kinda a response to that

the thesis for persephone and wolf king and all the other (eventual) fics in the series is a graysons nature is to perform, and is an examination of dick graysons legacy. this is gonna be yet another fic about assault as told from someone who isn’t dick, so how can dick remain centred in the story? how does it portray his particular struggles with autonomy and control? how can it be compared with the people in his life — kory and babs have also experienced a profound loss of control and autonomy, etc.

idk i think trying to incorporate the change from dick grayson being a serious monogamist to someone with more partners is also interesting. how would he handle being in a relationship with someone who knows what he was like before, and might be able to accurately deduce what inspired said change? i also think it’s interesting to think about what justice looks like in this context? dick doesn’t want anyone to hurt or kill her on his behalf. he doesn’t want to talk about it. im pretty sure the closest thing we got to an actual confrontation was dick telling bruce about blockbuster in the cave, and bruce dismissing his concerns because he values dick’s life more

like…. what would the actual aftermath be if u kept something buried so deeply for so long and someone knows u enough to find out anyway?
