What the Hell is going on at U.C. Berkeley...
It’s beginning to look like Ferguson meets Crimea at U.C. Berkeley, as masked thugs rule the streets and Police fear public opinion if they intervene. Conservative author Ann Coulter has officially cancelled her presentation at the far left liberal university after the university fails to provide a safe venue for the event.
The university claims to have significant credible information that violent protests will occur if the conservative personality is allowed to speak. This is similar to the circumstances surrounding conservative author Milo Yiannopoulos, who’s presentation was cancelled after protests turned violent before his planned presentation earlier this year. Like Yiannopoulos, many students and faculty at the liberal university disagree with Coulter’s stance on key issues and welcome the protests as a means of pushing back on conservative viewpoints.
An infringement of first amendment rights no doubt, but cleverly done through proxy. Much like the Russian invasion of Crimea, with masked thugs, who wore no uniform or carried no flag. Seemingly unidentifiable, and yet carried out Russian objectives to take over the Crimean-peninsula and regain control of the coveted Russian submarine base located there. So too, do the masked thugs in Berkeley carry out the objectives of the majority liberal factions of the faculty and student body at U.C. Berkeley.
Should we put California on the list of rogue states, that rule by mob violence? Do we need a federal investigation of the Berkeley police department for their failure to ensure individual civil rights as laid out by the Constitution of the United States of America? Should masked thugs be allowed to assemble and instill fear in the public, engage in felony destruction and walk away unchallenged by police? Perhaps we need the National Guard involved to enforce peace in the troubled community of Berkeley. Perhaps we should get the FBI involved, and unmask some of the mystery surrounding the mysterious agitators who are currently calling the shots at U.C. Berkeley.
Is this really what we have come to?
