and, as the trendy (and 100% true) quote says: make it exist first, then make it better! it doesn't matter if it looks bad to you mid-process, cuz' it really IS mid-process! you shouldn't give up on ANY drawing halfway through, you're literally losing the chance to learn and gain experience, which in case you didn't know, are the pillars of making your art look good to you :D

UNDERWORLD: STRANDED - MARVIN'S LIMBO...! THE PLOT!! YAYY :DD (cuz' i'm high on oc pills)
Moving to Corvus Creek, Marvin finds it dreading to settle down in their new home and leave their past life behind, and as they spend their days carrying the weight of past mistakes and regrets, they stay at home, miserably repeating the same ol' routine, for they believe their times can't get any worse. Or so they thought, as their desire to learn more about a series of unfortunate events related to their past and themselves leads them to the "very haunted Melancholy Woods of Corvus Creek", in which their life meets a snappy, yet painful pause.
Waking up, they find themselves on the bridge between life and death, also know as the Borderline of Limbo, in the Underworld.
lost in the darkness, they will make their way across the new plane of existence they've been tossed into, accompanied by two interesting characters, to find a way to get back to their body and back to life, as the clock's ticking, and they slowly find themselves going astray and drifting away from subsistence.
andddd! that's about it, honestly. most of the story after that is prolly going to have nasty spoilers and traumatic angst :D

this is the best and current draft for the story i have. i am planning a total of seven chapters, plus a prologue and an epilogue. absolutely inspiring myself (if not basing myself) on the team 344's storytelling format, especifically the Underworld Office games
of course, as it's a draft, the story is subject to changes, so if i find any concept that can help the narrative go better, or if i make a stupid mistake redarding already established concepts, i'll make sure to correct and change thoses parts of the plot :D
OK, enough rambling, let's go now onto the autistic ghost children (MCs), yippee! :DD
Marvin: The Soul on Limbo
[BIO]: A mostly paranoid teenager, who's kind of allergic to people (we get you, kid 👊😔) . this little soul mostly desires to find a place where they can hide, and be easily found (in a society, i mean. they would absolutely get killed if they were to do that in the Underworld--)
they have a sharp sight and hearing sense, but their mind loves to play tricks on them. despite being weak, they want to prove themselves of help. and out of the trio, they are the most empathetic towards other ghosts.
General facts:
Height: around 159cm/5'2", i think (sorry guys i don't use feet)
Age: 14 y/o
(Preferred) pronouns: They/Them (they are meant to be a non-labeled-gender mess. i sometimes use both he/him and she/her pronouns on them, and i encourage people to use those, too :D)

Boy: The Guardian Dog
[BIO]: (the circunstances in which he meets Marvin contain spoilers, so...) able to communicate with souls through telepathy (and maybe articulate his words, perhaps...) the guardian dog, formerly known as Boy, is a cautious and conservative guide for souls on limbo to lead their way through the Underworld.
although his distant and secretive nature can come off as insensitive or impertinent, he proves those assumptions wrong, as he is most loyal and mindful through actions, and cares a lot for his allies and protégé (although his ego won't let him express himself as he desires...)
General facts:
Height: i dunno how to measure dogs, but he's just barely taller than Annie (132 cm) and shorter than Marvin
Age: ok, he was somewhat young when he died, i guess this could be spoilers if it's discussed in the story, i dunno
Pronouns: He/Him
Annie: The Enlightened Spirit
[BIO]: Marvin and Boy meet her in the first chapter, and she later joins the team for adventures!
She, as a child, is a bubbly and positive bundle of joy, but can bite your ankles when "angwy". She can also be real cheeky and impish if she's seeking attention or is in a bad mood. She loves adventuring, and would have liked to be an explorer if she grew up. She likes bugs, rocks, and glitter the most. She doesn't like loud noises, and she mostly hates being belittled or screamed at.
General facts:
Height: around 132cm/4'3"
Age: 8 y/o
Pronouns: She/Her

he or she is kind of an humanoid creature (not human, but REALLY really alike), and they are just a 2 centuries old undead child that cannot read and wanders around the silly ol' world :D
and fun fact 2: yeah this is a headcanon colour palette (that i made for funsies) for Annie's alive design! (she's a lil' ghost when she meets Marvin and Boy, so yeah :D) (also it's "headcanon" cuz' i'm not sure yet if it would be fully necessary to apply her alive design in any scene, maybe a flashback or such, but i'm not really there yet)

DAY #4: first design of a current OC: Marvin (wow, you wouldn't say?? pffft--)
and DAY #5: least favourite OC: Deidre--- NOW HOLD IT! first of all, i must say: I LOVE DEIDRE. ok?? and i love literally every single one of my OCs >:( so basically, i simply decided to draw the morst tedious character design-wise (and as a doodle cuz' her design is sorta harder than this;v;)
also i took this as a chance to draw the OG trauma duo and my not so favourite yuri (don't ship these two, actually)
DAY #6: Jules Katghil (march 27th, 2023) is my OLDEST OC EVER, APPARENTLY??? sooo, little intro:
Jules (Jubilee) Katghil is a 10 y/o well-doing and adventurous girl, who, by falling off a steep mountain after jumping a white, interesting looking fence (related to lore), kind of like, DIES, if i'm not mistaken??? but she somehow manages to keep processing thoughts, and she enters a magical, chaotic and marvelous world in her mind, full of mystical creatures and pretty human and humorous characters as she goes missing in the real world. (MY MAN CAN I PLEASE MAKE A CHARACTER WITHOUT BRAIN DAMAGE AND TRAUMA--)
