Y’all someone posted on my small, conservative town’s local Facebook page asking “what’s going on with the UFO’s? What do you think it’s about?” And I got a true glimpse into the evangelical psyche.
Out of 87 answers, the most common answer I saw was…
“Aliens and UFO’s are being talked about so the government will have a cover up story when the rapture happens and all the Christians suddenly disappear.”

Guys please I am begging you to not get sucked into the conspiracy theory bullshit going around about UFOs and stuff. Please.
David Grusch's source is literally "trust me bro" and almost none of what he's said makes any sense if you think about it for a minute. This is like when that kid in elementary school says that their uncle works for Nintendo, it's just "yeah I know some people and they said that they found aliens and the aliens were also cowboys and they weren't allowed to take pictures and I can't say who they are and they didn't show me any proof but I heard they had cool cowboy boots".
We are dealing with Ralphie Wiggums here.
And then people want to make a big fucking deal out of some pilots seeing lights in the sky but literally every time we have a specific time and location it's just Starlink satellites. Okay not EVERY time, sometimes it's a mylar party balloon or something.
The universe is so, so big that it almost certainly contains some intelligent alien life. But there's zero evidence that any has ever visited Earth.
