Itachi could only blink and close the book he was currently reading, when he heard the sound of footsteps entering the room and the sound of a familiar voice demanding for a fight, at first the older Uchiha wasn't sure on how to respond to his younger brother's request because he was sure Sasuke might wanted a few days to relax after just returning from a mission the previous day, but after a few seconds of looking at the younger Uchiha, he could see the determined look that now on his face. With a light sigh escaping his lips, Itachi placed the book down on the table beside the chair he was currently sitting in then released a light smile to show Sasuke that he accepted his challange.
"Alright...Sasuke if you are sure you want to fight, then I accept your challange." the older Uchiha responded then sat up from his seat so the two could head to the training fields, because Itachi assumed if the two were to have their fight in the backyard and go a little over board they might not have a house to return to once their sparring match was over with.
