Is it possible for some systems to not have alters from childhood sources? Like your brain just doesn’t split fictives that often nor did you ever watch actual childhood shows growing up because your family was weird about stuff like that. For example we grew up watching twd, horror movies, adult shows. We didn’t watch a Disney movie or any kid shows until the age of 9/10 and even then we were told to watch something other than kid shows. Like are you still a valid system if you don’t have any fictives from childhood sources?

Yes it it possible for systems to not have fictives from childhood sources! In fact, some systems don’t even have fictives at all. Alters can come from any source, or no source, from sources witnessed when young, or from sources witnessed more recently. Fictives are valid but so is the lack of specific fictives. I hope that makes sense.
