THIAGO SANTOS STOPS ANTHONY SMITH!
2nd round TKO for Santos! 4th straight stoppage win.
Crazy ass fight between Santos and Smith. Santos lights Smith up. Lands a brilliant spinning hook kick in the first, follows it up by a head kick and ends up getting mounted by Smith. From there, Santos gets the reversal and lands heavy GnP. He’d close the round out landing some nasty strikes that rocked Smith hard. More of the same in the 2nd. Landed a body shot that folded Smith and led to a stoppage from the ref.
Thiago Santos IS violence.
Douglas Silva de Andrade takes decision over Marlon Vera
Brazil continues to roll. Improves to 7-0 on the night.
Best performance of de Andrade’s career. Did a great job of pushing the pace on Vera, using his crazy athleticism to keep Vera off rhythm, great body work when he remembered to get it in, and didn’t fade after 15 minutes of fighting. He looked so much more comfortable throwing. Still a bit stiff throwing but didn’t look like tense. Man is getting better. Way better than when he got stopped by Rob Font.
Sergio Moraes finds a way. Takes decision over Tim Means.
Moraes shouts out Jiu Jitsu after kickboxing his way to a close win. Such a strange man. Moraes’ ugly ugly kickboxing style is oddly effective though I thought Means did enough to win.
