Reblog with a list, rant, photo board, whatever.
I'll post my answer sometime this weekend.
Handgun is gonna be a Pachmayr combat special commander in .45 ACP
For my first long gun I went with the FBI’s standard, the MP5/10.
And for my second, the M14K. In dense forests and large openings, a short little .308 is real handy. (Administrative Results for picture credit)
GMC S-15 Jimmy as my vehicle.
For outfits, I’ll go with what I normally wear. Denim shirts and flannels with a biker jacket. OD fatigues when needed.

Where do you keep your colt?
Oh wait. That’s right.

Custom made steel framed 1911, survived a tour in Vietnam and still in perfect condition.
"Press X to doubt"
Look, I have no evidence, but the square trigger guard seems like something that wouldn't come around for a while until after 'Nam.
Didn't that become a thing because people were placing their weak-side index finger on the front of trigger guards?
Custom Armand Swenson Bobcat 45 steel frame commander built for James A. Wood Jr before he deployed to Vietnam. With it being a bobcat conversion this gun started its life as a fullsize govt 1911 and was then cut down to commander length.
James A. Wood Jr wanted a steel frame commander but it was not offered by colt at the time thus he turned to legendary 1911 pistol smith Armand Swenson and had this pistol commissioned in 1968 with it being finished just in time for his deployment. In the meantime James and Swenson exchanged letters about the build, one of which outlined the work that Swenson suggested for the gun, with red ink at the top corner of the page saying, "I have checked the functional needs for you. What I would bring to Vietnam with ME. -Armand Swenson".
James Woods carried this pistol in an M3 shoulder holster all throughout his deployment to Vietnam and returned safely with it.

1776_Duck on IG owns this and talks about it regularly. Square trigger guards took off after Nam but was being done to guns before that.
Myself and Kevin Feige were speaking about previous iterations of him and where we are culturally. He was branded as this womanizing, devil-may-care guy, but is that sexy these days? I don't think so. This version of Johnny is less callous with other people's feelings, and hopefully there's a self-awareness about what's driving that attention-seeking behavior."
This is how wokeness kills storytelling, by the way. Because as any actual Fantastic Four reader can tell you, Johnny's womanizing is usually presented as a character flaw, a symptom of his immaturity. But that's too much nuance for sexless, squeaky-clean Marvel, so Nu Johnny is a Soft Boi or maybe gay. We'll see when they film another ten billion reshoots.
Watch them turn Nu Johnny into a literal flaming homosexual
>but is that sexy these days? I don't think so.
It actually is, despite what feminists would have you believe.
It's even funnier, because this Nu Fantastic Four is supposed to be set in the 60s, so, why would it matter what we find sexy today, show what people would find sexy in the 60s.
“Is that sexy these days?”
It’s the character. If you don’t like the character, make something else.
I have 2 old Seiko 5 SNK809's. I know this.
I have found 1 of them, I want to find the other.
I had them on a bookshelf in my back room, which I have cleaned looking for them. Where is my second one? WHERE
I FOUND IT
I have the beige one of these. I really wanted the green but couldn’t find one when I was looking.
Make buck and ball cool again.
I kinda like the idea of Rhodesian Jungle where bird shot clears out brush so buck can fly through uninterrupted but honestly the #8 would be pretty bad at clearing brush and you'd have fewer buck pellets for effectively showing your attacker the error of their ways.
Turns out that more buckshot clears brush perfectly fine.
I have one of these shells as a joke, along with some repro brass shells.
Buckshot is the standard for a reason.
