kinda bothers me when irl ppl treat me as the resident expert on feminism/queer issues like okay i will explain things if u ask me but. how about sometimes doing research. or like. listening to me even when you don’t need to prove a point to someone.

and this extends to me being regarded as the go to person on female authors/theorists/revolutionaries and i’m just not that knowledgeable like i know some things but i don’t know enough about most females to educate people beyond basics?

(because its like *woman is mentioned* *i am expected to know all about her* *boys are not expected to know about her*)

please do ur research yourself sometimes and if ur not gonna do that, at least listen to me even when it’s not convenient for you.
