We're getting closer and closer to our carnival event here, so before it does, below the cut you’ll find a list of the different attractions ( rides, games, etc. ) that characters can sign up to assist with, if they so wish. Please remember that while posting starters or anything related to the carnival to use the tag UHQSEVENT1 or UHQSCARNIVAL, as we do not want the main event tagged to be used by members to prevent clogging. You’re more than welcome to make edits, polyvore outfits and more related to the event as well.

For each attraction, we’ll allow a total of 1-3 members max, some of course only needing one, if no one signs up for something, we can assume they’re taken by a NPC.

COME ONE, COME ALL!                   TO THE FIRST UNDERGROUND CARNIVAL. 

The weather was getting warm and the mutants were getting restless. The founders knew something had to be done before chaos ensued. It was common knowledge to the founders and a few select people that an abandoned amusement park was nearby. With the help of a few select mutants, the rides and games had been restored to their former glory and the park was hidden from view. Everything was set up and ready for use. 

About halfway through a boring day, Maria Flores (one of the founders) appeared at the top of the giant staircase. There had been an argument over which of the founders got to spread the news, but in the end, Maria won and she was rather excited about it. “EVERYONE GATHER AROUND I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT.” She yelled, waiting to get everyone’s attention. Once people had quieted down she yelled. “FREE BOOZE. SEE THE SIGN ON THE BULLETIN BOARD.”  

Attached to the bulletin board was this note: 

COME ONE, COME ALL. 

        TO THE FIRST UNDERGROUND CARNIVAL. 

What: The Underground’s first ever carnival to celebrate the warm weather and remember those who died in the explosion. 

When: 21 April at 11:59 PM GMT - 3 MAY at 12:01 AM GMT 

Where: The Abandoned Amusement Park (Transportation to and from will be provided) 

What to expect: Games and rides for all ages. With prizes ranging from teddy bears to alcohol. 

How much: FREE 

How it will work on the dash: 

This will be a dash event only, although if you wish to carry multiple people plot, feel free to have it in a chat group on discord or elsewhere if need be. We just ask that you post it once you are done. 

Duration of the event: 21 April at 11:59 PM GMT - 3 MAY at 12:01 AM GMT. Time may be added if we see it’s necessary. You will of course still be free to continue event threads after it ends, but no more starters should be made after that. 

Regulations: The normal dash etiquette and interaction rules apply for the event. But please tag your starts with uhqsevent1 and uhqstart. Do not use the official uhqsevent tag as we don’t want it to be clogged by starters. Feel free to include event outfits and inspiration in the tag as well. 

Please keep an eye out for plotdrops during the event!

“...the lockdown is now over, but Sentinel Services is still on alert. No one is allowed out after dark without an escort but missions, supply runs, and day trips will resume as normal. THE LOCKDOWN HAS BEEN LIFTED.”
