Newly Coined Uingender Qualities

I noticed that uingender is a very broad term and encompasses tons of experiences with genders that are unnamed, unknown, undefined, unclear, etc. While many genders fall under the umbrella, there aren't any qualities that I know of (Some can fall under uingender, but are not exclusive to it.) So here is my proposal.

↓ Adelosine: A quality for all uingenders that are unclear or unsure, as seen in terms like quoigender or gendervague. The flag borrows the green from the uingender flag.

↓ Aphanine: A quality for all uingenders that are unseen or invisible; denotes intangibility, possibly seen in genders like genderdull. The flag borrows the red from the uingender flag.

↓ Vacuine: A quality for all uingenders that are lost or missing, as seen in terms like genderlost. The flag borrows the yellow from the uingender flag.

↓ Agnosine: A tentative term for the quality of all uingenders, UIN alignments, and UIN-adjacent gender experiences. The flag borrows the purple from the uingender flag.

Binarino Pride Flag

Binarino: people who are masculinely or andrinely binarine; binarine masculinity or andrinity; a masculine or male gender quality associated with binarity. Aptobinarino for aptobinarity.

Binarina Pride Flag

Binarina: people who are gyninely or femininely binarine; binarine gyninity or femininity; a feminine or female gender quality associated with binarity. Aptobinarina for aptobinarinity.

This can be used as a gender quality and a noun at the same time. More common among Iberophones, using words like "feminines"/"masculines" referring to multiple people is uncommon in English, but it's enjoyed by many members of the trans community as well. So saying binarinos or binarinas may be useful for grouping oneself among ideobinary or ideobinarine and viabinary or viabinarine people aside from aptobinary or aptobinarine people.

It’s the xague anon with one of the labels I was talking about, here is:

Unknoliminal: when you experience gender as being in between having a gender that can potentially be describe and labeled thus being “known” and being unable to describe and label said gender, whether it be at the same time or fluid between the experiences. It can be in this specific way (that’s how I personally describe it for myself) or just being unknown in whatever way the user may experience it. The user may also experience fluctuation between wanting to know and label their gender while other times being okay not knowing at all and even being at ease/calm and relaxed being in an unknown state.

It has a similar framework as genderliminal (by @/genderless-gibberish) except it’s (allo)gendered, I consider it to be at least a partial uingender that can be ageninous in nature, which is having some aspects and characteristics relating to being agender, but that’s about it on that front. Abuingofluid Flag!

So we just discovered a lovely term called abuingofluid, but didn't like the flag we found for it (no offense /gen/), so we made our own.

Abuingofluid: (from Pluralpedia) "a gender where one has a detachment from the human concept of gender due to being nonhuman, however still feels like their gender is fluid in a way that cannot be descibed by humans."

These flags were made by taking colors from extranth's revised extranthrope flag (and adjusting the green because it was too light) and merging them with the style of this genderfluid flag. The first and seventh stripes represent a disconnect from human genders. The symbol on the left flag is the extranth symbol.

Etymology

From Middle English, "En-", a prefix used for negation + English, "Percept", meaning "to perceive". Literally, it means "Not Perceived".

Enpercept was originally coined as "Enperceptine" in it's adjective form. Coined by Gent (Gender-Jargon), 2020 on Gender-Resource (terminated) (link) [PT: Coined by Gender (Gender-Jargon), 2020 on Gender-Resource (terminated) (link) ./. End PT].

"Enpercept" is a noun for the identity itself. "Enpercept" was coined by Gent (Gender-Jargon) in June 2024 in this repost to provide a noun form.

Elaboration

As stated in the original, now-archived post, Enpercept is an Uingender, but not an Agingender or Xingender.

This term does not indicate confusion regarding one's gender, but rather an acknowledgment of one's gender experience as being inherently unfathomable. As such, it is also not a Usingender.

To clarify, it's the gender itself that is unintelligible, as opposed to being a label for those who are unable to make sense of their gender. An Enpercept individuals know they can't know their gender and embrace that unknowability in their experience.

Enpercept is a outherine, atrinary gender, but it may also be categorized as diastine.

Pride Flag

This post features a redesigned flag of my original Enpercept(ine) pride flag. The flag was redesigned with a more cohesive color pallet and slightly changed design. This flag was created by Gent (Gender-Jargon) in June 2024.

The flag consists of five, horizontal stripes, with the center stripe being twice as thick as all the others. From top to bottom, the stripes are grey-blue, dark teal, black, dark coral and lavender. The colors have the following meanings:

The grey-blue stripe represents the ocean, which is used as a metaphor for the vast, deep unknown.

The dark teal stripe represents a lack of clarity.

The black stripe represents it's unintelligible nature.

The dark coral stripe represents speculation.

The lavender stripe represents a sense of mystery.
