Maybe it's because I watched US soaps for so long but my god...the complaining about Emmerdale sends me. Like the worst writing on any UK soap (besides HO tbf) is award worthy compared to any story on a US soap frfr.
What do you mean your main couple is the grumpy gay menace and his bisexual disaster soul mate? What do you mean you actually tell stories that impact the WHOLE show? What do you mean YOU have real sets OUTSIDE? What do you mean characters actually interact outside their ONE set? WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU HAVE STUNTS AND CROSSOVERS AND PEOPLE ACTUALLY DYING?
Please sit and watch a US soap for like ONE WEEK. Cause trust me, while UK soaps are NOT perfect, they are actually SO MUCH better than some of y'all give them credit for.
