Human form Namazu, or Mazu. He spends a lot of his time harassing Ulixi both in and out of costume. At some point you desensitized to a god-birthed creature of destruction appearing in to your apartment.
Another no line art piece, with colored sketch lines. The background is pretty shitty, but I'm just a little guy and the backgrounds are scary.
I really enjoyed this piece, and I'm glad I put less pressure on myself for it to be perfect. I found more enjoyment if I removed the pressure of having to redo line art instead of using the sketch lines that made it feel more free and flowy.
Ulixi is one of my favorite OCs I've created, and I lived every second of this artwork, even if it only started out as a pose and composition practice.
Another bit of sketches from work I redid in color, mostly flats for this, but I hope I did it justice. I've been enjoying this re-exploring of my characters and figuring out who they are and how we get to where they are now in the story I've been working on.
Redrew my magical girl ocs, Ulixi (short) and Nagaru (tall). I've also been putting less pressure on myself with line art, by simply skipping that step and putting in the flats and coloring the sketch lines. It's been really fun and freeing.
I've scheduled several other drawings I've done to be posted every other day, so please enjoy when those come out. They focus more on character rather than look as well. So I hope you enjoy it.
Also sorry for the hand lettering, I thought it was funny they have such a height difference and wanted to make Ulixi's frustration with it prevent.
