"Ultima IX Patches Project": 2024-10-02 Patch 1.20 Progress
The "Ultima IX Patches Project" team have been working on a number of bugs in the Moonglow and Paws areas of "Ultima 9".
Iceblade has posted an update to the Forgotten World subdomain detailing recent progress he and his small (but growing) team have made on implementing fixes for outstanding bugs in Ultima 9. Many of the bugs that have been patched pertain to quests in and around Moonglow in the game, including the character of Leeland and some issues pertaining to the bandits in the area. Paws also got some…
Pix's Ultima Patcher Version 1.73 Released
The latest version of Pix's Ultima Patcher, now maintained by Fenyx4, adds support for the "Ultimore" expansions for "Ultima 3".
Fenyx4 has been the maintainer of Pix’s Ultima Patcher — far and away the best way to patch the Ultima games on Windows-based systems — for some time now, and hosts the code on his GitHub page. Anyone Want to Help Build a Project Website? A prospective "#Ultima" fan project is looking for some help launching a #website.
Ryan Williams is attempting to build a website for a project idea he has, which has the descriptive title of “The Ultima Underworld II: Labyrinth of Worlds – Ultima IX: Ascension Restoration Project“. Not being particularly skilled with HTML, CSS, etc. himself, he has put out a call for assistance on the Ultima Dragons Facebook Group: Hello, everyone. I’m trying to make a flyer, for both my LCS…

"Forgotten World": Tighter Goals #Ultima #Ultima9 #ForgottenWorld
Iceblade has taken a break from his attempt to not write a book until he inevitably writes enough to fill a book — that is, his series of reflections on Ultima 9 — to bring us a bit of news about the state (and future!) of the Forgotten World project. For those of you just joining us now, Forgotten World is a fan project that has already produced a series of patches for Ultima 9, correcting bugs…

Two More "Ultima 9 " Reflections, on Raven and Buccaneer's Den
Two More "#Ultima 9 " Reflections, on Raven and Buccaneer's Den #Ultima9 #ForgottenWorld
Over at the Forgotten World subdomain, Iceblade has been busily working on additional reflections about Ultima 9, taking deep dive after deep dive into the game’s design, story, and systems. In fact, over the last week, he has published two new articles, one taking an extensive look at boat travel and the new Companion, Raven, and the other examining Buccaneer’s Den and the portions of the game’s…
