I was scrolling through and saw the pet play loving Ava headcannon. So I’m wondering, is she a playful pup or a cuddly kitty?

She’s both, it just depends on her mood.

So, I can say your right on that… especially on what happened with the newest episode. 

Leif licks, Ava does not like it and not get it, it’s a gesture on Daemos she does not get and she refuses to like it. Lorelei should not influence his behavior yet she continues to, Ava does not like it.

Leif likes making Ava mad, though sometimes he does it on purpose like if he thinks Ava’s bottling some of her emotions up or she needs to get something out he’s good at annoying it out of her, along with everyone else.

Leif threatens anyone who he thinks is going to hurt Ava or is a danger to her, Ava appreciates the gesture but Leif tends to overdo it sometimes. 

Ava manages to get Leif in some sort of way into cooking, he can’t really cook that well, moreover basic meals, nothing too extreme (Like pancakes, sandwiches, etc.) but he loves to chop things with a knife, no matter who is cooking he mostly tries to join in for chopping whatever needs to chop; like vegetables, meat or anything that can be cut. His other weakness is his tendency to put the most outrageous things he can think of simply for the sake of egregious flavors.

Ava sits down to watch crime shows with him, and will sometimes, but rare, let him pick the movie as long as it isn’t too gory.

Leif likes going into haunted houses, whether it be a maze or not; it’s a good place to go when you usually want private time with someone, & he likes to feel like he’s protecting Ava. Or kissing, haunted houses are good for that.

Leif likes to garden in his free time, Ava provides, he has his little garden in Ava’s apartment somewhere.

marriage!! is it all of them get married at once? how would the proposal work and who asks? is the proposer asking all of them at once? do they all talk about marriage beforehand?

Marriage in a poly relationship seems hard to explain, well, for me to explain. As it has been explicitly stated that the daemos have different ranks that require them to respect social constraints; the humans don’t have to follow this rule so it’d just be normal for them. At least, as normal as polyamory is. As for the daemos, well, Asch is a prince, and Rhys is the favorite pupil of the former queen (who still wields an incredible amount of power), so it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to believe that Asch would go full determinator and not stop until the law allows him to marry the others.

For us, it’d kinda make sense they’d get married ASAP; however, you do have to factor in that it’d be harder to arrange along with the honeymoon; it’s probably for the best that marriage isn’t high on their priorities.

How would the proposal work? Well, because there are eight people in this relationship, at least three of which have some sense as to what the hell they are doing, it probably wouldn’t be the on-the-spot question you see in popular media; any proposals would be preceded by a discussion or two on how their lives would work if they got married. As for who would propose, probably Asch or Lorelai. Or they could all end up proposing to each other at the same time.

So in short: marriage isn’t a big concern right now, but it could be someday.

For this we’re gonna need to point out that in canon they do not like each other, they hate each other; in this AU, they’re learning to get along.

Noi cares for everyone a lot, including Leif when he isn’t being too aggravating or selfish; while Leif may not express it, he does care for everyone on the team. Just, in his own Leif-y way. 

So Leif, like Rhys, takes aftercare very seriously. His partner for the night protests the aftercare? Too bad. The climax has come and gone, it’s time for Leif to be a gentleman and pamper the other with aftercare. The other wants to take care of Leif? Not happening. Leif is dead set on giving the best aftercare he can and he Cannot Be Stopped.

(Unless Leif is drunk, which is A: not common and B: strongly unadvised, Drunk Leif is dangerous in his reckless idiocy)

Now, that’s not to say Noi isn’t caring towards Leif, it really just depends on how annoyed Noi is at that particular moment,

The both of them do at least respect the other’s boundaries when it comes to certain things; they can get along, with some difficulty, more often than not.

But outside of the bedroom, they are both Emotional Support Buddies and Chaos Incarnate when they get along.

They can both agree that flowers and gardening are relaxing and sometimes Leif will let Noi use the flowers he plants to make flower crowns, though Noi usually takes as he pleases and doesn’t ask.

Pierce calls Noi “Beetle”

Leif calls the others by various flowers from Daemos, based on their meanings.

Noi calls Leif “Kudzu”, especially when he’s annoyed with him.

Fireball, Asch, or Aschy, for Asch.

Rise for Rhys.

Rhys also gets called “Pearl” by Pierce

Prince Pierce or Piercey for Pierce.

Leify or Emerald for Leif

The daemos still call Ava Princess

Ava has Cat Queen or Pillow Princess. Ava and Pierce share the nickname “sleeping beauty” because they need sleep and sometimes are just completely out when they sleep and there’s no hope waking them up.

Noi usally calls the others by name, but he’ll call Lorelei or Jake “Babe” sometimes

Lorelai coming up with the sappiest pet names possible as a joke.

Ava doesn’t really do terms of endearment beyond “Babe”

Jake calls the others by nicknames, these nicknames have been mentioned in a previous post and I don’t want to type them out again

Noi also sometimes gets called Marshmallow because he’s really pale, and also very soft and nice person.
