I’m telling ya folks, within the next 5-10 years we’re gonna have an augmented reality cat collector & you’ll be able to interact with the pets. This is a prototype that tells me it’s right around the corner.
All the important aspects are there -- the haptic feedback (fancy way of saying you can touch & interact with the holograms, which is what that square thing below the dog is for), that it’s actually cute and doesn’t look like some of those fuckfaced pets you see in games in the Android store, that it’s for the HoloLens which is so far showing promise as an AR device.
The next big step here is to be able to have the holograms anywhere in the room, not just above the Ultrahaptics device.
