Holy fuck censoring words to avoid "the filter" has gone so far. I was on my monthly Instagram visit and saw a TikTok that I could barely understand because of the censoring of the captions. The tiktok explained why the US has a law that prioritizes putting native children with native families and makes sure if they are with a non-native family they are still connected to their culture in some way. Even the word native was censored (as n@tive). The point of the captions is to help people understand, censoring so many words in your captions make them unreadable to screenreaders and people, especially those who are visually impaired or have a disability like dyslexia.

It may be-- It may, indeed, It may be the month of clear water and pedals-- It may be the life of skin stretched and bones-- bones we have, but never see. It may be this life of waking up and walking and looking, looking for things. We read newspapers, we eat eggs, we drive cars, we walk into buildings that are all black on the inside. We will cry and hug someone we care nothing about. Dance so freely that death would ask, "Where are my devices? Where hath the footsteps in the hearts and souls of humans gone?" We will sit in silence. We beat and will be beaten. Death bones and lifes marrow. Little kids will watch trains throw rocks chase eachother do flips on trampolines. This may be it-- this month, this day. Oh Humanity. It may be an unaccessible life. When soul bodies jump from mortal bodies grasping for air. And babies are born into this. This may be unaccessible-- Just like my poems.
