I'd been searching for a stick-and-poke artist for a long time, not just for the ink, but for the meaning carried in the pain. I wanted my first tattoo to be more than art on skin—it had to be a symbol of my journey.

I chose the Unalome: the path of life, with all its twists and turns, leading toward the stillness of enlightenment. Every dot, every curve etched into me is a reminder that struggle, growth, and peace are all part of the same journey.

Did my very first tattoo on myself today using a machine I built! Far from perfect but I’m ecstatic! Had to be some sort of walk-in type symbol so I chose an Unalome. Contorting myself was much more painful than the actual tattoo.
