Long post. 🤓🤓🤓 __ Stop focusing on who did something first. I feel like we're so caught up on if we were the first to launch that we miss the lesson in it. __ Seriously who cares. Keep in mind the Universe places a "thing" on several individuals' hearts. Whoever takes that leap is following what was put on their hearts. And it's done differently by each person. Just make sure your brand or whatever it is-is the best product out there. __ I understand from a patent or trademark perspective and in those cases, you have to do you. But when it comes to I was the first to launch some everyday products or things that cannot be trademarked, stop it. I'm starting to see it more frequently and personally, It's annoying. __ Let me tell you a story when we first launched Revel there was another person that launched the identical saying we were going to launch. I even told her we were going to launch the same saying. We decided to stand down because we were new and felt there are other empowering statements we could share. We've even had some that follow this person say you're similar to them regarding products. I flat out told them it's because we stand for the same message. __ This person has since used sayings we shared and created them as her own. Did we complain about who was first, yes, at first then we realized as long as someone is sharing the message our purpose was met? It's not taking anything out of our pockets and we believed what was for us would happen for US. Do we still think about launching that tee, yes, but we will do it our way? I think about the analogy of companies that make bread. How many are out there today? Are they sitting in their offices asking, who was the first to make wheat bread, NO? They simply make their own version of it and go about their business. Sorry for the rant. I've been feeling this way for the longest.
