uncertainty is a path without an end. He who wants to completely do away with uncertainties before starting a purposeful journey of life shall always end a purposeful journey on the path of uncertainties without beginning any purposeful journey of life
Part 1 of my oc’s are finally here!! I might draw them all in twos to keep them consistent but we’ll see in the future.
Anyways I decided to make a separate account for my ocs and for my fandom art as I have a plan to go a bit far with them in the future. It’s nice because I finally get to let the story of them out there after like a year. Usually all my ocs I made before were scrapped because I didn’t like them but now I finally let them out there.
So starting off with Alina, she’s a Swedish woman who grew up in the south her whole life and was raised on the rural, small town side with a small farm along with it. She moved up north in the city to get away after conflict with her family who she doesn’t think she’ll be talking to any time ever. And with no payment for college she knew that moving up north was the only way she was gonna get away from her hell hole of a town and start anew.
There she meets Meghan, her new roommate! Meghan was looking for roommates online because she needed help on her rent, though she lied online saying that she wanted to expand her social circle. She was first distant from Alina since she had no intention of becoming besties with her but then figured out that Alina liked the same Anime she did just as much as her. Alina develops a crush on her overtime but doesn’t even know if she feels the same way.
[Got it. Next up? Grilled chicken thigh. Okay. There should be and her entire body was invaded by millions of uncertainties. Manchego cheese has got to go in there, too. All right, mixing it together.]
IT'S JUST SPECIAL ALL AROUND. I HAVE SUCH GREAT FRIENDS AND GREAT CUSTOMERS. AND HER ENTIRE BODY WAS INVADED BY MILLIONS OF UNCERTAINTIES. I BRING MY DAUGHTER, BRING MY GRANDSON. WHOA! I KNOW WHY YOU LOVE BOMBS!
And this is AFTER she finally starts reading this book! As if that wasn't enough, she also happens to ALSO be reading another Harry Potter-themed novel of JKR sort of way. And then he tells me... it's not okay to be a witch... like there is anything wrong with that one. And she goes, well...

That time when Jungkook was there for you.
It’s 5:14am on a Tuesday night when Jungkook finds you sitting in the kitchen with a cup of tea clasped between your hands. Not because you’re thirsty, but because you need something warm to hold on to and curb the shaking. You don’t look up at him, well aware that he can see the streaks of tears on your cheeks. The way your body is curled into itself on the chair. Your eyes probably look void, but your mind is anything but.
It rages. Thoughts bumping around in your skull and making you unable to go back to sleep. Ice cold chills running through your veins as you carefully comb through every scenario your anxiety shoves onto your already overfilled plate.
“What are you thinking about?” Jungkook asks. He pulls up a chair beside you, caressing your arm. Your boyfriend knows better than to acknowledge your tears. To scold you from them or assure you that your thoughts are wrong. Because they are not. Anxiety — for you at least — is based on uncertainties. You can’t know they will happen, but you also can’t know that they won’t. It’s like being your own devil’s advocate. Tonight, the topic of discussion was Jungkook.
You sigh, holding the mug tights. “I was thinking about what I’m going to do when you leave me.”
At your words, he lets out a shaky breath. This is a touchy subject. The first time you’d brought it up with him it nearly tore you apart. It took weeks of arguing and gentle yet painful discussion for him to understand that those feelings weren’t personal. They weren’t aimed at him in specific. It’s a thing that your brain does that you can’t stop. It happens with everybody that you meet and care about. Though, you are so lucky to have him, an understanding, loving boyfriend who now gladly sits through these floods with you.
“You’ll be okay,” he whispers. The comforting touch of his fingers over your tear-stained cheeks is welcome, it grounds you in the moment. Now, he is here. Now, is what matters. “If that day comes,” he focuses his strain on the ‘if’, compared to the ‘when’ that you had used, “it will hurt. But in the end, you would get through it. You’re so strong. You’ve already come so far. I’m sure that you would be able to come out alright. And you won’t be alone. You’ll have your siblings, Namjoon, Hoseok... They would all be there for you.” He pulls at your arm, twisting your body towards him even though you refuse to look up at him as tears run down your cheeks. “We are all here for you. You are not alone. Ever.” Jungkook grabs your chin, forcing your gaze onto his. “I’m here, right now. And I will be here tomorrow.”
The dam breaks. You sob, doubling over into his embrace, cheek pressed to his chest. His heart is hammering, much like yours. How heavy these conversations must weigh on him, you can’t imagine. But right now, you don’t have the energy to comfort him. You need him to comfort you. To hold you and protect you. To love you.
“Let’s get you back to bed.” He lifts you up, still crying, and carries you into the bedroom. Placing you on the sheets that are still warm with his presence, he joins you. Lets you curl into him, protected from the outside world. He calms you.
He holds you, no words needed. The sounds of his breathing, his beating heart, are all you focus on. To remember that he’s here and isn’t going to just leave you. To know that he loves you and cherishes you. Only he can drown out the noise. He’s louder than it all.
With one hand holding you to him, and the other soothingly stroking your back, your crying dies down. The tightness in your chest is replaced with a full feeling, almost floating. You undulate under his touch, stretching out to unwind your back from it’s previous taut position. A shaky breath falls from your lips as you reach up to nose along his jawline, inhaling him deeply. Holding on to his waist with a now less-bruising grip. The thoughts dissipate, now a mere gentle murmur in the background.
You’re free and he knows. Finally, he relaxes, kissing the top of your head and tangling your legs together.
“I love you,” he speaks, so firm and full of certainty.
That is it. The one certainty you hold. “I love you too.”
