Kazuki is definitely a keep it inside kind of guy.

He was raised to believe that any emotion he felt was a bad thing, or something to be guilty about. Doesn't really help that his ADHD makes him feel things a lot stronger than someone who's neurotypical. He tries to hold everything in to escape any sort of punishment. Kazuki has been known to hold every emotion in until it just sort of becomes a major breakdown and releases everything at once.

What did your character want to be when they grew up? Have they achieved their dreams? If not, why? If so, does reality live up to their dreams?

All Kazuki ever wanted was to be just like his dad. To be a great leader and king for DICE as everyone saw him to be.

No, sadly nothing he ever does seems to appease his dad. No matter how he excels academically, or carries out the orders hes given, it all seems to be for nothing. Regardless of what Kazuki does hes constantly told he's not ready.

He will never truly be able to be his dad, because no matter what Kazuki isn't him. He's much more caring and aware of other people than Ko is. He cares for the members of his organization and feels like his dad goes too far at times. His dad is an abusive shithead, and Kazuki just isn't.

Ko might have succeed in molding Kazuki to be a certain way, but they will never be the same.

Oh boy. Okay. This is gonna be complicated to answer.

Kazuki is both the LEAST insecure and most insecure guy.

He's insecure about everything about himself, but main points are:

Being a trans man

Being a failure

He feels unlovable

Never meeting expectations

However, he has to act like he has no insecurities due to his dad expecting him to be the equivalent of violent royalty. While for the most part, he treats the people he cares about and clients equally, he definitely acts egotistical around people he considers "below" him. For the most part, he believes this. Sure, he may suck, but he's higher in status.
