Uncle Detective - Does Sherlock like children? This scene was kind of odd. Sherlock is smiling and waving at the little kids ... looks more like JLM than Sherlock in this. Very cute. (Excuse the crap images. I’ve been reduced to taking photos of my screen.)

Ask Ausiello: Spoilers on Elementary (Nov 8)
Joan’s desire to adopt a child has hit a potentially permanent snag.
Asked if there are plans to continue exploring the storyline in Season 7, showrunner Rob Doherty replies, “Not immediately. The end of the sixth season was a pretty good example of the degree of difficulty that exists for a prospective parent like Joan Watson. Her job is unique, her living situation is unique.” And while Joan was “ready” for all of those complications, “the end of the season is a reminder that it’s dangerous to be a friend of Joan’s, let alone a son or daughter.”
With Lions: Plans
"Have you thought about what you want to be called by my kid? I mean, assuming I get one. I was thinking Uncle Sherlock." "Yeah, well, I've been called worse. I'd also settle for Detective." "My child is not calling you Detective." "Well, Uncle Detective, then."
honestly how did Joan come to the conclusion she was putting pressure on Sherlock though, I mean?? He was cleaning up and redecorating their dollhouse, considering mounting his lock grid and spending his spare time reading (and redesigning) babyproof locks??? Like omg he’s so excited to co-parent and I don’t get how Joan didn’t get that?? He already loves this child who will be brilliant and be able to undo child proofing “no problem,” because of course, and he would lay down his life for Mother and child, no questions asked. and you’re telling me he’s not going to be fathering this kid? You’re telling me this child isn’t going to be the new centre of his existence?
