You had never been more wrong in your entire life. Well thats a bit dramatic but when the three of you turned up at the house three hours later Adam was more then upset. “ where the fuck were you ?” he yelled as soon as you opened the door. “ relax we were just doing some shopping “ you tried to calm him down holding up the bags of clothes you had bought. “ i don't fucking care what you were doing. you should have told me (Y/N) i was looking for you  so i could show off my kid to my family and then i find you , Mason and My mother had disappeared in Ricky’s truck” he yelled getting angrier by the minute.  “ oh now you want to show him off “ you yelled “ you never want anything to do with him but now you want to show him off ! you're unbelievable Adam” “Mummy” Mason cried tears running down his face breaking your heart you didn't mean to upset him by arguing with Adam but you were just so mad. “ oh I'm sorry little man “ you said bending down and scooping him up into your arms letting out a small groan at how heavy he was getting. “ (Y/n) let me take him” Adam offered to take the small boy off your hands “ No Adam its fine “ you spat grabbing your shopping and heading upstairs “ She was just trying to take my mind off your father , i actually had a good afternoon “ you hear Ruth speak before leaving to put here new purchases away.As soon as you got in your room you place Mason on the bed. His tears had stop falling and now he was just sniffling. “ how about we see if Dads free to Skype ?” you asked Mason while quickly flicking Michael a text. Mason just nodded slowly. As soon as Michael received your text he calling you with in minutes “ hey theres my little rockstar” Michael waved as soon as you accepted the call and his face appeared on your laptop screen. “ Hi Dad” Mason smiled forgetting all about before “ Hey babe “ Michael called you seeing you in the back round folding clothes “ Hey sweetheart how are you doing ?” you asked “ im good I'm mad at you two though “ he laughed trying to pretend to be mad but you saw right though it. “ and whys that ?” you laughed “ i just saw this “ Michael smiled holding up his phone screen to show you a photo of you Mason and Ruth at McDonalds earlier that a fan had taken. “ you went to McDonalds without me ?” “ Dad don't be silly “ Mason giggled “ oh im being silly ?” Michael questioned “ yes Dad you are “ he laughed his smile becoming evident. Michaels smile was enough to lift your spirits and the thought of seeing him soon made you feel on cloud nine . “are you still flying back tomorrow  (y/n) ?” Michael asked interrupting your thoughts “ huh ? oh yeah yeah of course we are ! “ you smiled watching his grin widen “ sweet Dave from security will be picking you up “ he informed you “ is that (Y/n)?” you herd Calum call from the background followed by the tanned boy making and appearance over Michaels shoulder. “ hey Cal “ you smiled giving him a wave “ Uncle Calum “ Mason cheered excitedly throwing his hands up in the air. “ Hey Buddy hows Australia ?” Calum replied leaning over Michael and pushing him to the edge of the camera. “ its good “ Mason clapped giving him the thumbs up. “ Hey Mas nice shirt “ Ashton called walking over and joining in   “ Uncle Ash you bought it silly “ Mason shock his head “ yeah i know do you think it looks good ?” Ash smiled in return as the door opened in the back round “ great now the whole band is now here “ Michael grumbled as Luke walked though the door. “ wait what did i do know ?” Luke called confused by his actions. “ i was just having a quiet Skype call with my family and now your all here” he moaned “ fuck off we are family were his uncles “ Calum complained at Michael “ Calum language “ Ashton yelled “ Michael don't you know by now they are family “ you laughed at the boys banter.How you had missed your boys. Michael silently smiled at you through the screen the man that had stolen your heart. You couldn't contain the large grin that made its way onto your face as you two sat there slightly smiling at each other while the boys chatted away to Mason. Lost in a silent conversation on the two of you could understand.

" Mason , he's probably just held up on sure he will call in a minute " you lied as Mason sat on the couch with your iPad in hands waiting. You hated lieing to Mason you knew Adam wasn't going to call and it broke your heart to see Mason so disappointed. Michael entered the room with a cheerful smile which was soon disappeared as he noticed the frowning four year old " hey bud what's up ? " he asked kneeling in front of the grey couch Mason was seated on so he could be at his eye level " Adam was supposed to call but hasn't " you answered for him. Michael tensed at the mention of Adams name. " dick " Michael breathed under his breath " I'm sorry bud , I know you were looking forward to telling him all about America" Michael frowned gently trying to console the young boy. Mason nodded silently playing with his hands in his lap. " right I know what we're gonna have to do " Michael smiled as he hoisted Mason off the couch and threw him over his shoulder in a fireman's lift " right lets go " he continued making his way towards the dressing room door leaving you standing there confused " Daddy where are you taking me ?" Mason breathed out between giggles " we're gonna go find uncle Ash and put a smile on that face " Michael replied making his way towards the stage where the boys were setting up. " we have a grumpy bum here "Michael announced as he meet the boys back stage " we can't have that now " Calum laughed tickling Masons sides as he squirmed around in Michaels arms. " uncle Luke " Mason giggled as he as he made grabby hands at the blonde guitarist. " you want a piggy back ae Mas " Luke questioned  already knowing what the boy was after. Luke was known to give the best piggy backs. Michael happily handed Mason to Luke knowing he had seceded in making Masons disappointment pushed into the back of his mind. But to be honest he was getting tired of having to cheer Mason up all the time. The only thing worse then having no father is having one that always lets you down.  " you okay ? " Michael asked you while you both watched Luke tear up and down the back stage area pretending to run away from Calum with a hysterical four year old on his back. " I knew he wasn't going to call but for once I wish he would surprise me and keep his word " you sighed " I know babe " Michael consoled wrapping his arms around you in comforting hug " he gets upset when Mason goes round calling you Dad but he's never around to be the Dad Mason needs ! He doesn't even try " you stressed trying to hold back the tears that were forming " Mas is so lucky to have a Dad like you Mike " you pulled back from Michaels hug to look into his inviting green eyes. " and even I can't be there all the time " he replied sighing " but you make an effort , you try to be there , You take back to back flights if you have to ! You get up at three am on a busy tour just to have three minutes face timing us. Don't you see Michael ? Your everything I want in a father for Mason , I just wish i had got pregnant to you four years ago " " speaking of pregnancies , how are you doing babe ?" He asked placing his large hands on your stomach " I'm alright , it's not true what they say it doesn't get any easier the second time around " you laughed as Michael rolled his eyes " well I'm sorry " he laughed " oh you will be " you threatens him with a evil smirk " don't worry you will be " " boys it's time for sound check " Mia called rounding up the boys as Luke handed over you son who was in a 100% better mood then before. " can we watch Mum ?" Mason asked you pouting and flashing his puppy dog eyes " you need to stop hanging out with Calum and of course we can " you smiled as your son cheered.

After the boys played 'Jet black heart' they sat at the front of the stage ready for the part were the fans got to ask the boys questions. “ How are you liking Las Vegas ?” the first fan asked “ good Calum and i are going to have a Vegas wedding “ Ashton answered while the crowd laughed along. The boys were always quite humours and one of them always never failed to get you laughing.“ Calum i thought you were marrying me ?” Luke whinged “ No i am he's kidding baby “  Calum laughed making a heart with his hands at Luke “ What was the last lie you told ?” A brunette asked from the front row “ I told Ashton his shorts looked good “ Luke replied “ there you go making fun of my shorts again ? whats wrong with them ?” Ashton frowned “ they're awful “ Michael clutched his side laughing along with Calum and Luke “ How’s Mason liking tour ?” a tall blonde haired girl asked from the third row “ He's a bit jet lagged so he's all weird “ Ashton asked as Michael turned around to face back stage where you and Mason where sitting watching. Waving his hand he invited Mason to join him.  Unsure at first Mason took a few unsteady steps then as the crowd burst in to a cheer of “awws” he ran towards Michael. Michael engulfed him into a protective hug and he sat the small boy on his knee. “Hows tour Mas ?” Calum asked holding his microphone up to Masons mouth interviewing him “ good “ Mason replied smiling as the crowd burst into another cheer of “awws” “ what was the movie you watched ?” another fan asked “ we haven't had a lot of time to watch movies lately “ Ashton replied “ No Mason made us watch frozen the other day “ Luke corrected “ oh yeah good movie “ Ashton smiled remembering “ who's the tidiest band member ?” a fan from up the back asked “ defiantly Mason “ Michael replied without hesitation “ no that doesn't count his Mum packs his stuff “ Calum countered “ yeah thats why he's s tidy “ Luke laughed while Calum nodded in agreement “ do you guys ever read fanfics ?” a small light brown haired girl asked from the second row. “ All the fanfics I've read i always get friend zoned and Luke or Calum get the girl “ Michael grumbled making you laugh as you stage at the edge of the stage keeping an  eye on Mason. “ your friend zoned in real life as well “ Calum laughed “ yeah (Y/N)’s actually dating Ash “ Luke joined in “They always make me out to be really romantic but I'm really not “ Ashton confessed. “ what do you say one more question Mas “ Michael asked as Mason nodded “ alright who should we pick ?” he questioned as Mason scanned the audience finally pointing at a girl with bright blue hair “ What are you most looking forward too after the tour ?” she asked grinning “ Sleeping “ Calum replied and Luke nodded his head in agreement making the fans laugh as tonights show was the first show of the american leg of the tour. “ writing new music “ Ashton smiled as the boys all looked at Michael waiting for his answer “ becoming a Dad again “ Michael answered casually as the fans sat gob smacked. “ Should we sing another song ?” he asked standing up as the fans tried to process the new information. “ that was cruel you laughed as you took Mason from Michael as the fans started to cheer and congratulate you. “ well they were going to find out soon “ he laughed.

So here we have (Y/N) (Y/L/N) stuffing her face with cupcakes “ Ashton said as he walked up to you with his phone videoing you taking a bite of your cupcake. “ Ashton you cant put this online “ you stated covering your mouth with your hand as you spoke with your mouthful“ why not ?” he asked giggling as he spoke still continuing to video you “ you cant let the world know I'm feeding my child cupcakes for breakfast “ you replied laughing “ they will think im a bad mum “ you continued finishing your mouthful “ Mason is your Mum a bad Mum “ Ashton asked the little boy who was currently sitting quietly beside Michael as the two of them devoured chocolate cupcakes . “ no “ Mason replied his face covered in chocolate crumbs “thanks Mas “ you smiled kissing his forehead and ruffling his dark  blonde hair.“ so there you have it Masons first breakfast on tour, love you guys “ Ashton turned that camera on himself and wrapped up the video. “ you better not post that “ you stated causing Ashton to smirk as he typed away at his phone. ‘Ding ‘ your phone called alerting you to a twitter notification reaching into your back pocket  “ i will get you back “ you replied as you read Ashton's latest tweet. “Sure you will “ Michael replied with his mouthful and laughing along with Mason. “ watch it clifford “ you warned “ i might just accidentally slip hair removal cream in your shampoo “ “ yeah but do you really want the father of your children to be bald “ Ashton questioned “ i think he could work it “ you smiled playing with the ends of Michael’s faded red hair “ sorry to interrupt guys but the people from KPLV-FM radio  are here to interview the boys” Mia came in with Luke and Calum in tow. “ yeah thats all right I'm  going to take Mason and do some shopping “ you smiled cleaning up the wrapping from the cupcakes one of the crew members had bought and the boys had decide would make do for breakfast. With limited options for breakfast as there was no cereal bought for the tour bus yet  and the boys encouragement you decided it would be okay for Mason to have the cupcakes for breakfast just this once . “ babe i don't think you should go yourself “ Michael stressed as the interviewer took a seat in the chair directly facing the couch where you had been sitting previously in the dressing room. “ don't worry Mark’s coming with me “ you smiled as Michaels face relaxed a little. “ do you guys want anything ?” you question the boys as you gathered up Mason. “ some bananas would be nice “ Ashton replied as the rest of the boys stayed silent. “okay and i will see you later “ you said goodbye placing a quick chaste kiss on Michael’s soft lips.

The grocery store was pretty quiet. There were a lot of mothers pushing young children around in their trolleys. “ Mummy “ Mason called pointing at you making small grabby hand motions at you. staring down at the tried boy at your feet you gently lifted him of his feet and onto your hip. “here ill take the shopping basket “ Mark offered as you struggled to hold both your boy and the basket. gladly you handed him your grocery’s. “ thank you “ you smiled “ now what do we need Mason ?” you questioned the small boy who was quietly scanning his surroundings “ bananas “ he spoke quietly pointing in the direction of the fruit section. “ good boy what would i do without you ?” you hummed as you mad your way over to the fruit section. “ excuse me ma'am “ a lady at a testing station gained your attention “ would you like to try so of our mixed berry juice “ she offered You nodded and she opened the bottle and poured you a sample in a small cup . As she handed you the small cup your stomach began to feel uneasy as you caught a whiff of the juice “ on second thoughts i better not “ you smiled as you held the cup up offering it to Mason. Frowning and shaking his head he denied it. “ a bit grumpy is he “ the lady laughed “ well i have something to fix it “ she said as you handed the juice to Mark who happily accepted and drank it. The lady ducked under the testing station and pulled out a lollie pop “ would you like this ?” she offered him. Mason just stared at the lady blank faced “ Mas what do you say ?” you asked as you accepted the lollipop for him “ thank you “ he mumbled as you handed it to him. “ thats alright “ she replied obviously taken back by the lack of enthusiasm Mason showed for the sweet. “ he's just a bit jet lagged “ you explained as the lady flashed you an understanding smile. “ Mummy “ Mason cried getting your attention “ i don't want it “ he grumbled as a tear ran down his cheek followed by another one as he turned his head into your shoulder and began to sob. “ hey its okay you don't have to have it if you don't want it “ you soothed the upset four year old “ you save it you might want it later “ you smiled trying to solve the poor boys distress but he only shook his head and frowned “ or you could give it to Dad when we get back , i think he likes lollipops “ you suggested seeing Masons face light up and a smile reappear on his face.  “ Daddy's boy ae ?” the lady smiled as she began to wipe down the testing station with a cloth. “ you have no idea “ you laughed shifting Masons position on your hip so he could cuddle closer into your side.
