I am not able to translate this idiom into a more sensible sentence.
Direct Translation:
If I do not do it for myself, heaven and earth will be terminated.
This is a very selfish idiom that I come across; personally I don't use these idioms.
You will only hear these words from a self centred person that are not willing to back off and it is something not good. By saying these out it means that the person not willing to take in any advise.
Whenever I met up with these types of people, I will always tell myself that this is 'Survivor of Foetus' and by saying this it is just like covering the ugly side of the person.
Perhaps they have gone through some hard times before where they have gave up and think this will be the best way of handling things.
Let me share with you a case I come across where this person will cheat, lie and backfire on whoever who come across that seems to be a treat to him. He will do basically anything in order to make sure that himself is protected and will always remain as high as possible, he will not feel guilty on what he did. It is just his luck that he manage to get away with things he do and I can still remember that at times he thinks the god is on his side and this is just the 'Survivor of foetus'. Sad to say, 3 years down the road, most of his friends left him, his business gone down and end up with huge debts. This is what I heard about him last.
If anyone of you think that the above is correct, do reconsider again as I am sure there is many other options than to let your selfish self surface. Because toward the end of our road we will always wish that we will meet up with faces that we recognise to share the good memories that we have build through out the years.
