Yellow eyes are not exclusive to Chara. Frisk’s eyes turned gold in front of the house in the Ruins, as well as each time they have reloaded.

While this isn’t a video game, isn’t it a similar situation between every update?

Okay, so first of all, congrats for making it through Chappy 1, you’ve led all of us through a ridiculous roller coaster of emotions and I look forward to the beginning of Chappy 2. Now, for the real purpose of this, theories.

Now that we know that Asriel is definitely still alive, I would imagine that 1.) Tori and Asgore are likely either ridiculously old, or dead. And 2.) Azzy has likely been learning and growing his whole life with Chara, up to the point when Chara began living in the Ruins. Now I’m not exactly sure when Chara and Azzy were separated, but I imagine it was well into their adult years, maybe late 20s for Chara, idk. Throughout this time, I would assume that Azzy was being taught and instructed about humans and what to do with them via Chara. As seen from the little bits we see between the two in-game, Azzy seems to listen to just about everything Chara tells them, so it wouldn’t be very surprising if Azzy happened to grow to hate humans as much as Chara did/does. Which means that the cutesy lil fluffball we know as Asriel likely became increasingly violent and/or angry towards human and maybe even monsterkind as he grew up.

Now relating to the last page, and what I think might happen. Judging from Azzy’s reaction to the Frisky Frosko, he has probably seen other humans before. Maybe he even lived in the Ruins with Chara at one time? Although his living in Snowdin still raises questions of their own. Did Chara and Azzy have a fight? Are they working together to collect souls, or is it every man/monster for itself? Chara seemed to be surprised that Azzy was there at all. Maybe they thought Azzy was living somewhere else? Like Home or the Hotlands? Anyways, I would imagine that if Azzy manages to kill the human (seems very likely right now considering the position Frisk is in), he doesn’t plan on sharing the soul with Chara. Maybe there will be a huge epic side-battle between Azzy and Chara for who gets to kill the human? (Heh, wouldn’t it be funny if Chara was the reason that Frisk escaped alive this time? Like Azzy goes to stab and Chara stops him, like ‘That’s my human!’ *insert huge ridiculous battle that is a good enough distraction for Frisk to escape death yet again*)

Anyways this was all I could come up with for now, thanks for reading all of this (if you do, idk) and sorry for it being so long but I just HAD to get my thoughts out there! Keep being awesome!

Personally, I like to pretend the mountain near my city is Mt Ebott, but that’s not Caretaker canon. Mt Ebott’s location has no bearing on this AU, so we have no clues for you! (Also, “tribe?” Chara fell in 201X...)

I have a confession to make. I kept singing the Shia LaBeouf song when working on this page thanks to that great series of anon messages.

Chara does guide them... but not to safety.
