【EPOQUE Collection - Laminar Flow - Underflow】
Clothes Underflow wore to the theater in Ægir. Lightweight armor and a tailored skirt come together to form a balance between comfort and defense.

When it comes to Irene ships, I've always been loyal to Specrene because I like yuri and fighting side-by-side is really good romance material
Lumen and Irene, I've always seen as a mix of friendship and mentorship. I liked the idea that Irene is helping someone else find their way they way Dario taught her in the Inquisition
Path to Life cemented that Lumen and Irene are friends to me since it feels like their paths diverge quite a bit with Irene staying for the fight and Lumen having the wider world open to him
Lastly, Irene and Undedflow has potential. Two strong women investigating and fighting together is very interesting
Last (but least serious) thing, I can get behind bi Irene but Lumen feels like he only kisses boys tbh
So let's discuss Underflow a bit, since no one generally will because she's not the big stupid 6-star on the banner
Underflow is the 3rd 5-star Sentinel Protector Defender released in Arknights, and the first one released in a long ass time. With her release, we actually have a bit of a solid idea of what exactly Hypergryph is thinking about when they are designing this class.
Sentinel Protector Defenders are Defenders similar in base stats to normal Protector Defenders, but exchange a Protector Defenders reliable survivability boosting skills for middle of the pack damage capabilities and crowd control. Blitz and Liskarm can both Stun enemies, while Underflow inflicts Slow. It's neat, crowd control is actually quite uncommon among Defenders.
Underflow is not actually understatted compared to the others. She has the highest ATK stat out of the three, and slightly higher HP than Liskarm, although lower DEF. Her DEF is moderately higher than Blitz but Blitz's HP pool is significantly better. Since Liskarm has a RES boosting talent, this actually puts Blitz in the statistical bottom of the three in all situations except True Damage and certain physical damage thresholds.
Underflow's S1 is not particularly snazzy, being a mild ATK up and DEF up. What this skill does bring in comparison to the others is a very consistent lasting DEF buff. Liskarm's skill only lasts for 8 seconds and has a hefty charge up time thanks to being Defensive Recovery, and Blitz's stuns are nice but only result in temporary disruptions. Underflow also, funny enough, has the best skill damage out of all of the three on a single target, so that's neat.
Underflow's S2 is interesting, being the first instance (I believe) of piercing attacks. It has solid DPS that is better than Liskarm's but significantly worse than Blitz's S2 (the DPS on this skill is insane btw) and has similar skill damage to the other three (thanks skill durations lmao), but has one pretty obvious problem. Liskarm's S2 does Arts damage, which means it always does some damage. Blitz's S2, especially with his module, can actually pierce DEF to a pretty solid extent, even if the skill only lasts for a measly 7 seconds.
With Underflow, you have to hope that whatever enemy she's fighting has like, less than 600 DEF. I'm not sure why the ATK boost on this skill is so wimpy, but she only has 804 ATK with the skill up and that's honestly disappointing. Liskarm gets a +200% ATK boost while Blitz will deal 2.775x damage to stunned enemies is all I'm saying.
Her talent does include some extra Arts damage, but it's minimal, only 110 Arts damage per second, or 220 against Seaborns. This isn't nothing and actually contributes meaningfully to her skill damage and auto-attack DPS (which is the best of the three), but she is no Thorns. This leaves her in an awkward spot where she should be quite strong but will struggle against enemies the other two won't.
This all being said, she is another Defender who can attack aerial enemies and has the most consistent crowd control for them among the Defender crowd, so that's nice for Tums, and out of the 5-stars, she can reveal invisible enemies one tile further with her S2 which is nice. But it's strange how she doesn't really wow me, I was kind of hoping welfares might end up a fair bit better recently.
i need her in ways concerning to the geneva convention. i could make her my babygirl
