Learning along the way

Part of relationships is understanding one another. I've learned to not let the little things get to me, well I'm actually still in the process. I've learned that after he goes out to play sports with his friends, he'll be tired and so then when we text and he doesn't reply I understand he's tired and I won't get mad because I've learned to understand . And I've still trying very hard to get out of the habit of poking him, because he dislikes it. And even tho he gets our anniversary number wrong every month I've learned to not get mad because he sucks with numbers and he's so funny/cute when he tries to correct me on it when he's actually the one who's wrong. I feel really bad for him though because I'm such a moody/bipolar girlfriend 😩 I hope he's willing to stay with me because we've honestly come to far to let go and I've became too attached to him. Iguess we just need our space every once sometimes, NOT TAKING A BREAK! Space and break is TWO VERY DIFFERENT THINGS.😁 Anywho goodnight.

I was just going to post a quote from this video, but I couldn’t! There’s too much awesome in this video to be contained in the mere text of my blog! I mean, the first half of the video was interesting. But around 2:00, it stops being interesting and starts being prolific! We can not begin to solve the complex problem of the environment if we don’t fully understand each other. Many people forget to take into account people’s lives and their needs and the needs of their children! Understanding is the key to making the world a better place. I agree with Hank. Many of us think that just by being green personally we can cross our names off the list of “People Who Make the World Suck”. This in fact, is false! Because, although we no longer feel guilty of ourselves doing environmental damage, we are nowhere close on fixing the total problem. And if you think your job is done just because you recycle and drive a prius, you are wrong. You are wrong as if you were to think the square root of 4 is STRAWBERRIES! Yet, you have to take into account the thoughts and needs of the world and others in it before we can take the next step into solving this environmental crisis. But, as Hank beautifully puts it, “Once you understand these problems, once you understand the actual complexity of this situation, then you can start to understand the solutions. Because the real secret to being green is being educated and empowered enough, not only to make good decisions for yourself, but also to help create the solutions that will allow the people of this world to prosper without destroying the natural systems that they rely upon.”
