I think our brain has like a selection of fragments? Or something I dunno.. which are like ready to go if we need someone new for some reason

Like they're not really.. as alive and formed, not fully awake, not really capable of fully making memories?

But sometimes we can feel our brain forming them, slightly testing out a voice or phantom limbs or a feeling.. it feels weird, not quite you but not quite someone else, just an idea, waiting for a reason, a purpose, a task, meaning.
