About Delta Rune and “Undertale 2″
After three years of fangames, artworks, videos, animated series, fanfictions and other works done and developed by the Undertale fans, my guess is that Toby Fox realised how profitable the Undertale franchise still is and decided to create a...sequel? Prequel? Still-not-situated-in-the-timeline-continuation-of-sorts?
Only three years. But the number of AUs Undertale has spun is CRAZY! UT became a fad that pleased all audiences; children, teenagers, adults...and they all did something in homage to this indie game, with its simple graphics, but captivating story and characters.
It’s safe to say the creator took the decision to work in an “Undertale 2” because of the fan creations. The amount of art produced in this short amount of time was MASSIVE. And the content creators are still doing it! There are still artworks being drawn, fanfics being written, even animations being updated regularly on Youtube!
And throughout all these years, Toby has been paying attention to what the fans have been doing.
If anyone kept Undetale alive, if anyone was responsible for us having an Undertale 2 today, something which, for an indie game is rare...it wasn’t really Toby. It was the fans.
I know the Undertale fanbase has been widely criticised, and many times rightly so...but there’s also the other side of the fanbase, who made these amazing creations and, without a shadow of a doubt, motivated Toby Fox enough to risk making a continuation and investing time and money into this new project.
So, to everyone who got to play Delta Rune today, my most sincere Thank You. YOU, with your artworks, your fanfictions, your animations, the time spent in front of a computer creating something inspired by this simple indie game to share your love with the other fans...it was YOUR DETERMINATION, despite all the bad things people had to say about the fanbase, who influenced Toby Fox to invest once more in the Undertale universe and gift us with a new game.
So, thank you. And no matter how many stones the haters throw at you, STAY DETERMINED.
especially the don't
i can't believe it's been 10 years, thank you Toby ♡

yooo fellow blogthegreatrogue hater <3 where did your post go lol
uhhh i was not really. reasonable. when i made the damn rant lmao. so I just deleted it.
i was just fucking pissed. I still do hate rouge immeasurably. i was like 11, 12, when i was traumatized by some of the shit i saw, and like. fucking. i hate rouge so much.
i hope they never makes art again, because they ruined some of us out here. i cannot enjoy undertale anymore without thinking of them and their shit. i'm not sorry tbh for blocking them, or writing about how much i do not like them.
i get sick thinking about comics like PJ's Daycare that we all watched and liked as 11 YEAR OLDS. as 12 YEAR OLDS. we didn't know what was so wrong about it till later, went oh shit, that is pedophilia. that is non-con. And therefore, that is predatory and disgusting.
we were kids. we were just kids.
we didn't need to see those sick, twisted things.
I guess Undertale is one of those things where what the fans do with it is more interesting than the game itself. Not really shitting on the game, it’s just not my thing. Not a fan of puzzles, and reading a bunch of text without voices doesn’t personally invest me as much as other people. I’ve seen some wonderful fan art, listened to some great music (just bought a track about the Genocide run from DAgames), and some funny/interesting comics (even though I know next to nothing about the canon story).
