I'm rewriting Glitchtale with no prior knowledge of it(and it's good?)

Mmm okayyyyy guess it's time to explain my actions and why you shouldn't burn me at the fucking stake-(and why you may just wind up being able to say "I hate Glitchtale except this AU in particular"....atleast I hope-)

So to explain, man I shouldn't even call this a Glitchtale rewrite, because I'll be honest...I know absolutely nothing about Glitchtale except Pink bitch and how her potential was WASTED!!! I don't even know her name! So I pretty much took pinkie pie over here and the Glitchtale name and said FUCK YOU to every other aspect of Glitchtale. Be aware harsh criticism is unwanted, the tags "DLDR" and "DLDI" are there for a reason, if you're a bitch you and your comment are getting blocked and deleted as to not offend anyone or sway their opinions on my AU due to your UNWANTED HARSH OPINIONS. And now, if I have your attention, without further ado..

Your story starts at the end of their story. Another genocide route and this time Sans is loosing. Frisk prepared themself for the final blow and Sans for his demise before the child suddenly stopped. Frisk, closed-eyed small child Frisk, suddenly opened their eyes and Sans felt pure dread for the first time in his life. That's not Frisk.

Staring back into the inky void that are his eyes was a pair of glowing pink eyes, doesn't sound normal ik but even less normal when you clarify that they were COMPLETELY PINK!!! Not even a shred of another color is those strange eyes... And suddenly they smirk at him, a smirk that slowly turns into a wicked grin as they raise their left hand, the reset button appearing for a second before a finger snaps and-

!!!FATAL ERROR!!!

Glitchtale Prime(REWRITE AU!!!)

Glitchtale Prime REWRITE AU or simply Glitchtale Prime or GPR follows a young woman, a dimension hopper as it seems, and a glitch in the system, Elizabeth Beverley, whom no one not even Sans himself knows who she is, what she is or where she came from. And a strange entity called "The Dreamer", or as Liz refers to them, VOID.

By the actions of Liz taking control of Frisk as you just saw and resetting a new AU was born, one where Frisk does not exist at all and Liz is instead the main character. In this AU Liz is a strange human, seemingly connected to the Ink and Error Sanses, who is possessed(?) by a virus-like entity of the sorts which is VOID and the two are accompanied in their travels by none other than Flowey who got his shit wrecked and now kisses ass bcs he's low-key terrified of Liz.

Liz's relationship with VOID is inspired alot by Cynessa(Murder Drones) while Liz's relationship with Flowey is inspired by the relationship between The Traveller and Paimon(Genshin Impact).

GPR takes place further into the Undertale timeline then most other AUs as Liz, having taken the place of Frisk, waited until she was a strong enough adult before falling down a fucking hole-

GPR is a prequel of sorts to a bigger project of mine, one that may very well never happen due to the sheer size, something I like to call Underverse Prime and so if anything comes of GPR just be aware that parts of Liz's backstory may change or not make sense until the story of her relative is told in UVPrime Act 1.

"They're so much like Gaster!"

For many years in the underground there was rumors/stories from around the time when peace was still between human and monster that Gaster had two assistants, the prodigy genius Alphys and the strongest(and smartest) warrior in the entire underground simply known as Justice, Gaster was in charge of basically running the underground's "government" but before that he was merely Asgore's most trusted scientist but his two students were almost as glorious as him in their feats, Alphys went on to become Gaster's successor in his first line of business and became the head scientist of the underground while Justice went on to become General of the royal army and founder/first grand master of the royal guard and gained a reputation for being the strongest(and most terrifying) in all the underground and for many centuries they were, after Asgore, the strongest in the underground until the day that Sans and Papyrus were born or rather Cosmo and Dusky were born.

The stories of those times always tell that Alphys may have been the successor of the great Gaster but that was simply because Justice refused! In fact Justice was by far the more extraordinary of the two, for what Alphys had compared to Justice in knowledge Justice was by far more creative and came up with many ingenious ideas that when successfully executed far surpassed Alphys accomplishments. Justice was the greatest inventor, engineer and architect the underground had ever seen but she was also the most mysterious person anyone could ever meet.

They say she randomly appeared in the underground not long before they were sealed away.. The underground was the place to be after all, the entrance was lined with a grand bazaar and all of it was quite ordinary in daylight until the night when the "sky" would light with millions of hanging lanterns, just past would be quaint villages and beyond would be acres and acres of unpopulated mythical "wilderness" beyond comprehension. It was any other normal day when the girl walked in the entrance, walking through the bazaar and stopping to help others on her journey, she stayed for a short while in a snowy village before leaving once more and she walked and walked and walked before coming to the very end of the underground and collapsing before the royal estate, the home of the royal army, the asylum of knowledge for the scientists and the royal palace.

Some say it was the two children of the royal family who found her out there while playing and others say it was King Asgore himself while privately speaking with Gaster but regardless she was brought in by the royal family and considered to be no different than the princess(female Chara) in circumstance though she didn't wish to be called princess but felt lady was perfectly suitable, and then it's said that the mysterious girl had all but abandoned royalty and instead sought to become student of Gaster and she did so successfully as well as her only acquaintance(at the time) in the entire underground outside of the royal estate, Alphys.

It's said when the prince and princess died she was at the front of the charge into the war, she wound up loosing an arm and nearly her life defending the underground and protecting the king, for the first five years sealed away she was not permitted to leave the royal estate even once, though many knew that was Gaster's decision, for personal reasons as well as needing to monitor her new arm.

After this she earned the title "Lady Justice" and so Justice became her name, she was the greatest knight that ever existed but to some who knew she was also very special in the eyes of Gaster, to him she was everything. And for many centuries after that he strived to discover how life could even be and eventually he would in the form of his, their, sons. Skeletons similar to Gaster but designed like a natural child, with characteristics of both a father and a mother, but he never did get to show her their greatest creation. For a tragedy struck, during a time of peace in the underground, where the great Gaster, Alphys and Justice reunited to continue their research together when suddenly as if the lock holding back hell snapped the barrier suddenly opened but not in the way it should've, the seal was like a portal now and the mass of energy flowing from it sent most all the way to the royal estate, it's said that the tragedy that occurred that day only stopped when a red and a green bolt of energy shot out from the general area of the asylum of knowledge. This was the day Cosmo and Dusky were born and the day Gaster and Justice vanished.

Toriel figured it was their doing, the colors fit them and all, so she went to find them immediately in Gaster's lab, but she never could've expected what she found.

"I figure Toriel will be the one on the receiving end of this note, and if so I deeply apologize for this burden I must place on you. You were...a wonderful mother Toriel...so I beg of you my Queen to be one once more. I know our departure is sudden but..oh Toriel you were her dearest confidant you of all people should understand how she pined to see the sun again, to return to her home, to live her human life, and I as I prepared for her a gift in hopes to make up for what she lost I found an opportunity to return her to everything she loved, and so I decided to not tell her about them. I planned to break the seal and send her through but if you are getting this letter instead of hearing this from me it means my hunch was correct and she made me go with her. She has seen my world for all this time, I wish to experience hers now. When you next see us Justice will be as she was but I will have changed, any sign I am a monster will be covered and simply by everything besides my appearance you will easily mistake me for being human as that is the role I now play. I chose to not tell her of their existence simply because I know her too well, if she knew she would've stayed. I love her too much to let her do that. To our sons, when I return do not worry, your mother will be close behind as she always has been for long ago she embraced the monster and she now lives forever, her one separation from her humanity. The elder son shall be named Sans and the younger Papyrus, Sans you shall hold to high expectations while you may give Papyrus an easy life, but make great things of our sons. Goodbye my friend."

Toriel almost immediately disregarded most of his requests, bringing home the two boys and declaring the new princes, Cosmo and Dusky Dreemurr, Cosmo would be raised by Toriel in the asylum of knowledge and would become the smartest monster in the underground but disavow the life of a scientist due to his distaste of his true father and would become an astrologist and astronomer instead, he always did have an obsession with the surface, while Dusky would be raised by Asgore in the barracks of the royal guard, trained since birth to essentially surpass his mother. Asgore and Toriel were always fighting after the death of their children and it's quite obvious it was sadly taken out on the skeleton boys. It wouldn't be until the savior Liz arrived and the Dreemurr family had three children once more that a group of allies would emerge and they would meet their illustrious leader Vengix who seems...oddly familiar.

Skelebros facts

• Cosmo is aware of the AUs but Dusky was actually the first Papyrus to start questioning the reality they live in, Cosmo knows but acts oblivious so in all honesty Dusky would be the one out of the two I'd consider less stable-

• Cosmo is a dream walker, he didn't realize this fact until Alphys was having trouble sleeping and suddenly that night he was in their dream and it was like he knew everything though he hadn't done it before

• Cosmo and Dusky are basically Dreamwalker!Sans and Aware!Papyrus

• Do not ask them who Frisk is, you will just confuse them, Cosmo and Dusky technically no longer have a Frisk since the hack...now we have Liz and you'll have to get used to "Frisk who?"

• Cosmo is 5'5 while Dusky is 6'0, Vengix(Gaster) their father is a rather scary height of 6'6

• Cosmo and Dusky technically have a "mother", a woman who Vengix based them off of, though they have never met her and assume she's passed away already(I assure you she has not)

• Pizza. Screw the usual foods, the way to Cosmo and Dusky's hearts is pizza, Dusky hates pineapple and sardines while Cosmo hates olives and mushrooms so any pizzas with that stuff on it you can send straight to Alphys and Undyne's place

• Please don't ship Cosmo x Liz or Dusky x Liz due to plotline reasons and they fact they're more like siblings if anything, they are Tori's children after all, though I am fine with them being shipped with almost anyone else(Classic and Cosmo drama I see you)

• As previously stated, Dusky and Cosmo are considered adoptive children by Toriel, she found them in his lab and took them under her care after the incident that allowed Vengix and their "mother" to escape onto the surface, Vengix never told the "mother" about Cosmo or Dusky because he knew she of all people deserved the freedom but she would've went back for her children, he knew the kind of person she was so he kept up the charade for YEARS all in the hopes of "A better life for all of us"

• Cosmo and Dusky never technically had the names Sans and Papyrus, it was written down in the lab but Toriel ignored Vengix's chosen names and named them herself, Cosmo Dreemurr and Dusky Dreemurr

• Cosmo and Dusky were blissfully unaware of their true origins for many many years, for all they knew according to the story Toriel found two abandoned skeleton babies in the snow and brought them home, Cosmo was the first to find out and he took it relatively easy compared to Dusky who lost his sense of reality and almost wound up hurting someone

Since I just infodumped about Dusky and Cosmo I may not have much to say about them(Tw: one possible mention of EDs and health issues)

Random Glitchtale Prime/Underverse Prime character facts

• Liz is not Frisk, when Liz "hacked in" Frisk was successfully erased from that universe entirely, so nobody knows who Frisk is

• Glitchtale Prime is an AU directly off of Classic Undertale, Liz "hacked in" during the final boss fight, overrode the system and caused a huge reset which changed the reality to fit Liz

• Alphys and Undyne are canonically married and have been even before Liz fell in the underground

• Cosmo looks like...Cosmo IS basically the collector(owl house) mixed with the wardrobe of an abyss mage(genshin impact) and all slapped on a skeleton. He has the blue aesthetic but more of a dark blue and he has his hoodie but it's now very oversized, fitting almost like a dress and it has star designs on it

• Dusky is basically a traumatized Papy, he has a similar outfit to Papyrus but his is more muted colors, more of his bone covered, more old looking and somehow more mature. The poor thing constantly looks exhausted and I know he depends on the emotional support Cosmo gives him to even survive at this point

• Toriel and AsswhoreAsgore no longer get along and sadly not even Cosmo and Dusky were safe from their fights, their favorite way of fighting? Using Cosmo and Dusky. When adopting them neither claimed to chose favorites but they sure as hell chose one to cling to, Toriel kept Cosmo safe but Asgore got to Dusky and so while Toriel raised Cosmo as an intellectual astrologist Asgore raised Dusky to be a warrior, Papyrus got his wish to be the guard through Dusky but if he had to see what he was put through I think he'd give up on that dream

• What changed? That's probably what you're asking, because in current time Asgore and Toriel have three children and a happy family, well the simple answer is when the third child, Liz, showed up....she straight up hit Asgore smack in the face and told it to him like it is, he proceeded to start laughing saying "Nobody's had the guts to try something like that in years!" and "Tori can we keep this one?"

• I think when Dusky realized all he ever had to do was snap at Asgore and he'd be proud he actually legitimately had a mental breakdown, it took Liz, a whole pizza and a couple months of family therapy to fix him after that

• Liz doesn't like talking much about her past, all people know is she has two younger siblings, not the best parents and she has a nerve condition, one she takes probiotic medicine for, that can affect her eating habits and cause her nausea which used to lead people on the surface to accuse her of having an ED and look down on her for "blatantly and confidently lying to them", not a lie just a resounding no

• Justice is inspired by Xianyun and Arlecchino(both genshin impact) and thus also inspired by the crane bird and the stallion, her hair long and flowing like the horse but sharp angled and detailed like the bird, her moves graceful and elegant little the bird but with each footstep it sounds more and more as if a horse's hoof connecting with the ground

• Vengix(Gaster) honestly felt his actions of abandoning Cosmo and Dusky were merciful to them, he would have loved to have been strong enough to tell her about them, to bring them with them as they escaped, but he knew if he told her she'd go back and he wanted her to be free but he was already skeptical of how the surface would be around something like him and he wasn't putting those boys through what he might face. "I do not wish to leave them like this, they are not just mine but they are hers as well, a part of both of us, a part I must leave behind. Toriel protect them. I will go ahead and make the surface safe for them but you must promise to let them go one day to go see the world I left them for and ultimately left for them."

• Vengix had two assistants, Alphys and "her", he left the underground under the protection of Alphys so he could leave to protect her on the surface

• The reason Cosmo and Dusky are Blue and Orange is because "mother" used to have beautiful blue hair with orange highlights, Alphys helped her to get those colors

• Alphys didn't lose their mentor and colleague that day, they lost their brother and their best friend, she respected them both yes but they were more of her family than just people she worked with/for

• Undyne literally requires Liz to have weekly fights, claims 'it's the only way she's letting her stay', she just wants to make sure the human isn't getting stronger than her
