Even a happy day can make you miss a drink

It’s strange how some days when your celebrating and the thought goes through your head about how great it would be to have a glass of wine. These periodically fog into me and slowly I think about how I hate alcohol. It is my greatest enemy and I can never underestimate it’s power. Separating from my addiction I stopped driving myself crazy, it’s our dwelling on how it contributed to good times.

I do that stupid thinking with many things. My ex’s, for example, whenever I thought about the good times with them, before I knew it I was talking to them again. How does my brain do that! So instead I think about how everything about them is undesirable.
