maia (mj if you're nasty) has so many interesting ways for their plots to go, and who can resist a sexy, high-femme elle woods type ivy league lawyer? not to mention, i'm a real sucker for a legacy kid (derogatory) in this sort of town. she won't fit in well, no; she'll dig a spot for herself by force and do it with manicured nails, and i'm stoked to watch that.

we loved the thought you gave to her relationships post-shannon’s-disappearance, especially the interaction with her younger sister. in particular, lottie's secret (listen, bex, when i tell you i had such an evil grin reading charlie’s secret, i felt like i grinched out a bit on mod b). that'll stay between us three four though. for now.

macy, even if you were the only muse e applicant, do not, for a moment, think that was some saving grace at play here. the attention you to every aspect of her family, extended and otherwise, as well as her alibi ; the gentleness of her desperately trying to cling to friends intent upon divorcing themselves from tragedy and tribulation ; the last line. every part of your app was perfection, and we so enjoyed reading it. we just hope ingrid’s acting skills are in pristine condition under all of this pressure.

you gave us so much room to play around and as admins, we are thrilled. we didn't expect this skeleton to try and take shan's place as local it girl, but you certainly wrote the one person who could. reading through your wanted connections was better than any soap opera i’ve ever seen, in the best possible way. ours jaws hit the floor with each one, and now we find ourselves on the edge of our seats to see what sasha gets up to in the cove.

sid, this character leapt off the screen at us, and it was almost immediate how well you understood the assignment. you put so much attention to detail in your wanted connections, that we had to wonder if maybe you had read our minds when we wondered about how g operates inside rose cove. you really let us in vivi’s head with her interactions with shannon, and now we can’t wait to see what conclusions she comes to when she starts pulling all of those threads.

i promised mod b i wouldn’t turn this into a sonnet, but that’s gong to be hard. your aesthetics painted a picture before we could even really begin your app, and every line we read after that just cemented how well you understand this character, peach. we were laughing, nodding our heads at every little one liner, screaming at the injustice, and by the end, we were ready to be her alibi (and willing to burn the footage of her smashing pageant trophies behind the local grocery store parking lot). there wasn’t one thing we did not adore, and we cannot wait to see ginny in action.

first of all, how dare you send us two beautiful apps that were that hard to choose between? we nearly ki(ll)ssed you. the truth is, we could feel how much you connected with birdie, juniper. she is naive and loyal and REALLY observant, and the way you explained her sort of hero worship of shannon just made so much sense for this skeleton. hands down, our favorite part was the tie in with birdie’s nickname, and we even made the joke that shannon thought she was very clever when she said a little birdie told her a secret. we can’t help but wonder if she is still paying attention, though.

di, nothing in this world makes more sense to us than luna being a journalist. you gave her this insecurity that really drives that golden facade she wears around, and we enjoyed how you played with her curiosity in her wanted plots. of course, that led us to wonder what the rest of rose cove would think if they knew their local good girl is digging into other residents to save her own skin.

you were our first app, and you held on with us the entire time, didn’t you? we are so glad you did because we love the dark mystery preston brings to the table. if anyone in town were to figure out his secret, we all know how guilty the new guy would look, and that excites us more than we can say. you really nailed down the vibe we were going for with your aesthetics, and as admins we can’t thank you enough for giving us so much to work with pertaining to his alibi. let’s hope he can stay out of the spotlight as long as possible.
AND NOW...the moment we have all been waiting for!
as you can see, we’ve exceeded our app count goal to be able to set acceptances, so let’s get right into it! mod b and i discussed when the soonest time for us to convene and discuss applications could be. we decided on closing the inbox friday june third at 6 pm CST with acceptances to be posted by saturday june fourth at 12 pm CST.
we know everyone is excited to get the ball rolling, and so are we! as stated, we think waiting those few extra days will allow any lurkers or people holding onto their apps the chance to do what they need to before submitting. i, mod t, will also be working these next few days, and so i want to be able to give this acceptances my full, undivided attention, because you all deserve my best.
also, to recap on reserves! any reserved skeletons will be held for 24 hours AFTER acceptances, meaning any reserved characters must be submitted by 6 pm saturday june fourth and will be accepted by sunday june fifth at 12 pm CST.
