“Oh, hey, you’re just on time!” Vince smiled as his newest student walked through the door, “Go ahead and grab an apron and come join me.” Typically, Vince didn’t do private cooking lessons, but this guy seemed, well, kinda desperate. Maybe the fact that he was quite handsome had something to do with it, but Vince would never admit that out loud. He was a professional, after all.
Dusting some excess flour off of his apron, Vince stood awkwardly behind the work counter, pretending to double check the ingredients laid out before him. Vince found the situation a bit nerve wracking if he was being completely honest. His typical group lessons were filled with so many people that he didn’t have time to make small talk with his students, but teaching one person had a more intimate setting. It would be awkward trying to get to know each other and even more awkward if they didn’t.
Clearing his throat, Vince looked up at Aleksandr, “So, uh, I was thinking we could do something simple to start with. Are you familiar with aglio e olio?”
